I’m fascinated to see the plans for the expansion of the Mem, which should be published next month.

I can’t quite visualise what he’s proposing. Do you think the East Stand will be demolished and replaced, or will the club build stands either side of it?

Plus, why put seats in the Thatchers end if it’s going to be replaced by a much bigger stand?

Nevertheless, these are the most impactful proposals we’ve had to improve our club’s infrastructure for a long time, so I’m very excited to see what they are.

He didn't say anything about the West stand (unless I missed it). I'm presuming that's staying as it is? Which would look out of place for me.

He said he’d convert the west stand terrace into seating. You’re right - it will look incongruous but it also holds all our executive boxes and much of the corporate hospitality so they won’t want to demolish it as that kind of thing is expensive to build.
