The FA have suspended Nick Chadwick for six matches.........they have added three more matches to his original suspension for the first minute incident that went undealt with at the time.

PAFC have also taken action internally.....although that is not clear at present in what form.

This certainly puts Chadwick well down Sheridan's priority list......does it also put a question mark against his future at PAFC.

Much as I may have defended him in the distant past and was quite pleased when he returned, he is now a complete liability with his stupid behavior as seen on Sat, and does nothing to justify keeping him at the club. If he was banging in goals or even creating them there may be an argument for giving him another chance; but he isn't, so should be sacked- even without his stupidity I cant see how he is higher than about 4th choice to play and hopefully in six matches we will have someone or a combination that can put the ball in the net so he wouldn't get a look in anyway. Apparently he has apologised-obviously realises he is about to join the ranks of the unemployed.

See lyndhurst you are gradually coming around to proper thinking.......

I wasn't aware of the 6 matches till I opened this and read plym's post. I'm glad he won't be a choice. Sorry but he does little. Even Fletcher gave him a touchline blast for standing around fiddling with his shorts and not working to do anything a couple of matches ago. Think it may be time to stop his pay for 6 matches at the very least and for him to hail a taxi. Probably quite a few would even pay for it.

sensible, I doubt we will ever be even close to the same view on on the politics/management/ownership surrounding the club but there are a number of players that wont be missed at all- prob get rid of Lowry and Griffiths while I am at it with Feeney also on dodgy ground. Nothing against any of these three except they appear to get paid for a job that they are not very good at- at least the young ones have displayed a modicum of talent at times and just need someone to convert that talent into winning performances.

    I'm on it joe.....

To be fair lyndhurst you were defending some of the above previously when others were giving them a kicking. You now seem to be moving slightly to the right which is a tad closer. I'm not as bad as those naughty boys on ATD who would just give everything Argyle a kicking without giving anything a chance. Chadwick was and is pants. Feeney is a worker but that isn't enough for a striker. Lowry I'm still puzzled about. I think he can play but somewhere it has stalled. Still actually think Griffiths can do a job if given the right people around him but again it hasn't proved great. Brent as now moved in the right direction but he had to be pushed first. Jury still well and truely out there. I made the mistake of blind faith before and won't be doing that again. I am prepared to at least give the new a chance but I'm not going overboard in the adulation stakes just yet. Go on, you know it makes sense.

and just as we were making progress..........not going to go over all the old ground again but, briefly, in the absence of an alternative, Brent continues to get my vote. He has always said the club must be self financing-for this to happen the fans need to turn up, spend their money etc. He has obviously and openly admitted he knows little about football but perhaps he /we have a chance now he seems to be assembling a more experienced backroom team.

We are going to fall out again now but ultimately the fans and people of Plymouth need to demonstrate (with their cash) to him why he should keep the club going otherwise he will eventually walk away as actually he owes us nothing.
Find us a billionaire and I would happily wave goodbye to JB but at the moment "in Brent we trust"

Never fall out just have a different view as to who should do what first is all. A multi millionaire will do instead of a billion one.........oh hang on.

I have never been anti Brent, just concerned that as a successful businessman......who obviously knows his field of expertise.....has never surrounded himself with football expertise in a field that he openly tells us he knows nothing about.

Add to that a manager and staff that were also new to leading a football club in a business that is judged by results......a recipe for disaster, which has failed dismally.

Brents faith in Fletcher made you think that his contract was cast in concrete for ever and a day and could pull Brent down with it eventually.

Some of us saw through Fletcher's lack of ability to know how to be a manager early on......how he could turn 3pts into 1pt and 1pt into a defeat and still proclaim that the lads played well and worked their socks off......and the dangerous sign of supporting whatever when players accumulated yellows and too many reds.....remember Fletchers own disciplinary record at Argyle, had I think, at least two reds.

So at last a new manager, who seems to have to work with existing staff.....lets hope the players respond to his style of managing.
