In the summer, Lamela and Soldado where purchased and viewed as the marquee signings, the ones to take us to that "next level", the level we where at, but we sacked the manager that took us there ( thats for another debate). Yet somewhat lost and somewhat ridiculed, there was a man mountain, oiled up and said to have natural ability, Nacer Chadli. A talented winger who would provide goals and said to be a "slow starter". A player I believed got a raw deal from fans and after tonight's wonder goal, is this a sign that Chadli is in fact that player, not Lamela, not Soldado, but Chadli, he is the next star of the team and will regularly score wonder goals as I predicted. I'll especially like to hear the views of SOS, a fan who has had doubts over his ability and if he would settle as I'm sure he is now having second thoughts.
Chadli should not be harrassed off the ball like a wet pansy. Opposition players should be bouncing off him into the crowd.
Boss makes some excellent points. Not neccessarily in this particular article but nevertheless he does make excellent points. Chadli is for sure the new Bale
The question is should we offer him to Real Madrid now for 70 million or wait 3 years and go for the full 100 mill?
No, no, no! Let the OP speak, flaspur, he has a point. Chadli is looking like the new Bale and Ginola rolled into one. The buy of the century, perhaps? (Note to non-Spurs visitors: no wumming, please - we've got it covered).
The only problem for Chadli might be this new youngster we're signing. He's the Nigerian Neymar, apparently. Everyone knows that this means he'll definitely reach his potential and there's no way that he'll be loaned out forever.
I told you all! This is it now, this is just the beginning. The real Nacer Chadli has arrived, no longer will people speak the name of the sold one Bale, Chadli is our new hero and we will all soon bow to this beautiful Belgian piece of art. "I'm your biggest fan I'll follow you until you love me, Nacer, Nacer Chadli!" - (to the tune of Lady Gaga - Paparazzi)
He's joined the elite club of Bale, Atouba, Bentley, Dean Marney, in scoring wonder goals. Legend in the making!
He's got a while to go before he makes Rosenthal status though. A player, incidentally, you compared Fletcher/Long to. Sign them up
