CFC are in deep trouble, we can all see that. So much so, that it would seem that Mourhino - despite his desperate public begging - could be on his way out, sacked by the club that welcomed him back as a returning hero. Whether or not Chelsea get relegated, it's clearly the case that they are going to finish well off the pace, this season, and depending on which clown they next get in, there are going to be some very disgruntled players looking to put in transfer requests. In the circumstances, I cannot see that their Russian owner is going to be able to stop them, or be too fussy about what price he gets for them. Therefore, there are going to be bargains to be had. My question is, which of CFC's current batch of players would you welcome to your club? None of them have been up to much, so far, this season, but in the right hands, and surrounded by decent colleagues, I reckon most of their squad could put in a shift. Except for Costa. He is a twat of the first order, and ought to be drummed out of the English league asap. But players such as Fab, Hazard, Oscar, Willan, and Ivanovic could still prove very handy. Personally, I wouldn't want Willan at Spurs, since he humiliated us when he joined Chelsea, and he and The Smug One had a good old laugh about it, afterwards. He can fcuk right off! I don't care how good he might be for another team! The others I mention, though, could all do a job for us, I think.
I wouldn't have Costa or Terry as they are both ****s. willian and hazard would be welcome as would Fab as squad player. Matic as cover for DM would be nice
Is now a good time to point out I called Hazard as ****e when he joined Chelsea? Time has proven me right
I know he shat on us by running off to the Chavs after having a medical at our place, but I'd still have Willian before any other Chelsea player.
Every POTY award falls down because of that very statement. Old man Giggs also won one.... In what was nowhere near his best season.... Farce
True but it dilutes the award. Its wasn't a life time achievement award and shouldn't be treated like one. Back to Hazard, he's another found out when things get tough. He's not alone.
Exactly. His career is well reflected with awards he fully deserved. A token gesture because he didn't get it when he was at his very best was meaningless.
There was no other stand out candidate that year if I recall correctly. The PFA one is nonsense anyway. They are the ones who gave it to Ginola, who never won a tin pot in his career, ahead of Roy Keane who was steering United to a treble that season. It bollocks. The football writers one carries more credence.
