He'd be a quality signing imo. Would fit perfectly alongside Carrick, and Cleverley, Powell and Kagawa could learn a lot from him.

Not convinced it will happen tho' - I think he would prefer to go back to Arsenal, even if he knows he probably won't win many (if any) trophies there, as he has won a couple with Barca so may not have the same hunger as RVP.

If we can get him, go for it. We have seen what he can do in the prem when he was at Arsenal. It depends what's stronger - his love for Arsenal or his desire to win trophies.

I think he's absolute class, would love him at United, although I don't see it happening. Send Scholes out to work a deal. We all know how them Spanish players love them some Scholes.

Only me thinks he's a lightweight then?

He's ok, but we would still need a ball winner alongside if possible. I'd just go for the ball winner myself and forget about dear little Cesc.

For me he would be a great signing but as Ruff says, we so need a ball winner FellainI would be ideal and with a buyout clause that's achievable it's certainly on the cards, obviously the Moyes link will help.

We do need a ball winner but signing a player of Cesc's pedigree would mean playing another style. His aggression, flair and creativity wouldd defo add a lot to our midfield. Lets sign Cesc, c'mon already.

I think we need both, more if we sold Anderson
    Fellaini can impose himself physically
while fabregas can open up chances for the rest of the team in a different method by using his creativity

here is how i can see our team front line
    ..................Carrick........................
    Valencia ....Fellaini ...cesc......Bale....
    ......................RVP...........................

Good point, which in a roundabout way is my point.

Our need is greater elsewhere. Get Fellaini, for example, and Kagawa can fill the role behind the strikers and Fabregas isn't required. Nor would we ever afford Bale.

I honestly can't see above two marquee signings, if that. Fabregas would be a luxury in that case.

What if we signed Fellaini, swapped Rooney for Fabregas?

    De Gea
    Rafael Rio Vidic Evra
    Fellaini Carrick
    Ronaldo :) Fabregas Kagawa
    RVP.

Fellaini or Fabregas, no way we will be getting both, and swap Evra for Baines

    Fellaini or Fabregas??
Simple answer is Fellaini! that power and drive is what we need, Fabregas as good a player as he is, isn't what we need, and after this season I can see Kagawa having a big season 2013/14.

Love your thinking but just not sure if Barca would want him!

He's had a poor season, but I'm sure the top European clubs will at least enquire about him. Wether the clubs could agree to terms is another matter.

Suppose Barca would have a spot available because it's inevitable that David Villa is going to leave.
