...which in my opinion can only be a good thing. They are probably the most important players in our team - along with RVP. Selling them would be a disaster for our squad and morale and I have absolutely no doubt that Wenger will do all he can to keep them. Regarding Nasri: 'Nasriâs agent has claimed the starâs priority is to talk to agree a new deal with the north Londoners, while Fabregas has declared heâs happy at the Emirates and wonât ask for a move. âI want to clarify that there has been no break with the Gunners over the contract renewal and we should meet again soon with Arsene Wenger,â said Nasriâs representative Alain Migliaccio. âThere are a few clubs interested in Samir, but it is useless to name them. âBefore listening to other teams, we need and we want to talk with Arsenal.â And from Cesc: "I am an Arsenal player. I have been very happy for eight years and I am very happy. "I am very happy where I am. Anything else would be speculation that is untrue." "there is a good team and a good manager and one of the most faithful fanbases in Europe. With those I believe we can make progress and one day win an important trophy." http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/13778733.stm http://www.metro.co.uk/sport/footba...d-arsenal-double-transfer-boost#ixzz1POPfTKJ4
I still think Nasri is a dick, but due to the nature of football supporting he will score a late winner on his first game back and I will love him again.
Neither have said they are staying. Neither have said they are leaving. Nasri says he is prioritising a new Arsenal contract. He will talk with our club and then see what is on offer elsewhere. Fab is being as loyal as he can be under the circumstances and is simply trying to diffuse the heat out of all the speculation. He doesn't say that he want's to stay, but only that he is happy with us. That does not mean that he wouldn't be even happier at Barca. If the right deal comes along, they are still both gone.
