From the Daily Fail: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2521034/Sunderland-want-sign-QPRs-Julio-Cesar-loan.html
What a silly story. Sunderland have already maxed their domestic loan quota. The "journo" should do some basic fact checks before he starts making up his own. Only deal that Sunderland are allowed would be a permanent one, which would suit us perfectly.
Can't they let one of their loan deals go to make room? Personally I would love to see even part of his wages off the books.
Only if the parent club agrees. Can't see Swansea being bothered about Ki, but Liverpool might be quite happy to end Borini's loan early to get him back with them if Chelsea pull the plug on Moses' loan spell at Anfield. Can't see Sunderland being in a rush for a keeper though. Westwood and Mannone are both good keepers for a bottom half side so Sunderland have got far more important positions to sort out first.
Good points Ricardo, your lot are doing very well at the moment much better than I expected, no offence intended.
Unless Cesar is prepared to take a pay cut his World Cup hopes are disappearing fast. Can't see the Mackems wanting him...
None taken, I think if any newly promoted club can say that in the middle of December they're nearer to Man U than the relegation zone and then have fans get offended because someone says they're doing surprisingly well then those fans need a quick slap. Especially given our away fixtures so far (8 games, 7 of the top 8 and 10th place Swansea) have left us with virtually no chance to pick up points (although we should have had 8 from 8 instead of 4 from 8 but for shocking penalty/non-penalty decisions and an offside goal).
