... against Italy, looked very good. Played the whole game, and stood out to the commentators as a class act. He had no chance with the Italy goals (a defensive gaffe that let them sneak in a corner, and a 'wonder strike' from Ballotelli that no keeper would have got near) but kept Brazil in it with several great stops to help earn a draw. Anyone else watch it?
The ****er clearly isn't injured then, which makes his performance at Villa even more baffling. Unless he has a clause in his contract allowing him to play for his country whatever. Hope he realises that he would not be playing for Brazil without us. Didn't see much of the game as I stumbled upon Ray Mears in the Canadian Arctic, making 3 course meals out of bark and lichen (including gravy), getting mildly cross about the lack of respect being paid to an obscure Victorian explorer, and singing with Inuit. I'm not all that interested in this survivalist lark, but I love this bloke, he always chucks in a bit of arcane history, shows a load of respect for native people, but above all he is always focussed on being as comfortable and well fed as possible, unlike other 'look at me' TV survivalists. My kind of explorer, he'll spend 3 days building a centrally heated yurt (with patio) out of found objects rather than sleep under a pile of twigs. Apologies Willy, appear to have drifted off topic rather quickly...........still think getting Cesar was a brilliant bit of business for us.
I only saw an interview he gave in Portuguese where apparently he was saying Balotelli had grown up a lot sice they played in Milan together, and that he was going to look after him! He can bring him back to QPR and do that properly! Plus get back to his good Brazil form for us again, if Harry gives him another chance this season, which must be a big doubt when Green has done so well for us recently, and Cesar so badly lately.
Outstanding signing for QPR ... Yes we have the Brazilan keeper... Yes we are QPR .. Yes we are going to survive.
Hmm. For 100 grand a week, he's been proper pony recently just when we needed him most. Those are the kind of games that you'd expect top class players to excel in. I do believe there's a gross overestimation of our player's performances from this Board in general. Barring a couple of notable exceptions, they've been truly awful this season.
And I'm not happy And I'm not sad
Agreed that Cesar is the best bit of business we've done this season. He's only lost us 3 points and gained us a lot more unlike Green who has just lost us points.
Considering we're rock bottom of the table and booking a ticket for the NPC, that doesn't say an awful lot Stamford. The previous Manager's transfer strategy was baffingly bad. The more it unravels, the less I can comprehend the incompetency of it all.
incompetent who?, the previous manager?.........we´re not having that on this board are we Dave? - cue the Saint.......dooooloooooliiddoooooooodooooo
He plays great for his home country , but leaks alot of goals for club . That means the back four is no good .
