Julio Cesar is on £45k a week according to this plus bonuses (he won't have got many of them). Arsenal have offered him £30k... http://metro.co.uk/2013/07/20/arsen...e-a-pay-cut-to-complete-gunners-move-3891199/
Was a big Cesar fan but he lost me when he wanted to take off after relegation. Now, he has proved himself as a mercenary so I would shunt him behind Green. I've thought Cesar to be a better keeper than Green but Green has stated that he wants to stay and play for us when Cesar didn't. I would only give him game time if Green got injured, otherwise, he stays on the bench, regardless of Greens' performances ......... well, within reason. Green would have to play 3 or 4 bad games in a row. Bugger his World Cup aspirations.
One of the great things about modern football is the ethos of wanting to get onto the home field and play for your pride, for your team mates, the club and the fans - and pick up enough money to have a good life. Oh.... Hold on... No it's not!!! It's about every player and agent trying to screw the club and the fans, and not give a **** about anyone else other than themselves. Cesar - shows he's no different to the rest! Jog on mate!
