The Brazilian goalkeeper's transfer will be finalised once he has received international clearance and been granted a visa, and he is already relishing the challenge. He is excited about the club's ambitious plans and feels confident Mark Hughes' men can gradually become a major force in English football. "I have many dreams at QPR," he told the Daily Mail. "To play well for the fans, the manager, the chairman and myself. And eventually finish in the top four and qualify for the Champions League and then one day win the Premier League. "It is possible. We shouldn't underestimate the importance of bringing in proven winners. Cause if we want to take the step up and become winners ourselves we need an overhaul in attitude both among the players and fans alike.
It really depends on how far the Mittals and other investors invest.....as he said Man City would have been laughed at a few years ago, but now lots of money has been pumped in they are the leading force in the Premiership. We are a million miles away from that now...but look how far we have come! Im sure if the Mittlas want to see us in the top 4....they have the money to do so....its up to them really. Nothing wrong with ambition!
I agree with him that you have to dream. Look what it did for Susan Boyle! Seriously, though, Franckster is correct. Greater success is bought by the release of tens of millions (maybe hundreds of millions) by the Mittals or other sources.
