Reading the press and some fan comments, tomorrow there can only be one result. Rotherham have been hopeless so far and we've played well above expectation level - this should be a no brainer. They've tried to change their system up there this season concentrating on defence in an effort to survive in the Championship rather than pull up any trees. It hasn't worked out (so far) and there are strong suggestions that they will revert back to plan A and go for it tomorrow (at least they had a plan B ). If Evans does lose this one he could lose his job as well. Far more difficult call than assuming we can walk up there and do the business just because we've been better so far this season. It's a reasonable shout that we should bring all three points back with us, but if they do have a go there could be a surprise on the cards - and I don't mean just sharing the points. We must win this one eh? It must be a dead cert for a bet eh? Well the bookies don't think so and they're not often way out. You can still get 6/4 on a City win and Rotherham are on at just 2/1 - not much in it at all, or you can fence sit at 5/2 the draw. Anyone fancy we're taking this game too easily (on here I mean, not Slade)?
Rotherham did get a point at the CCS last season. Admittedly we were dire too, probably the worse game I've ever watched. If we play like we did against Hull we should have to much for them
