Leave Cerny alone. We would all miss him if he did a northolt or a swords. He is only sharing stuff as it's been given to him. I can't see that he would gain that much kudos, as know one really knows who each other is on here. Therefore he is doing a surreptitious duty to fellow Rsss fans. But I would never shoot them down if it dosen't come true. Of course, some of Cerny's postings come to fruition, some don't,for many reasons beyond his control. Personally, I love it when someone puts their head above the parapit with a bold statement. It makes for great drama and entertainment, the reason why we are all here. If we all sat back and bantered stock-statements, we would all be off. That's why we should all love Cerny, DT, Swords, Eamon, StainesR, SB73, Roller, Brix, Goldie etc etc ( ****, i've dug myself a hole by not mentioning everyone! ) Sorry to those i've missed out, i'm sure you appreciate what I mean. I'm all for a bit of banter between us, but not when everyone starts ganging up on an individual. Remember.... We all come on here for one common cause.

Well said...this board would be at a great loss if the likes of those mentioned above, especially Cerny, didn't post some interesting news/suggestions...makes for good and interesting reading.
My only comment is that if he didn't describe obvious bullsh*t guesses as In-The-Know fact all the time, he wouldn't generate the level of abuse he gets. Just my $0.02.....
Best guess is : major differences of opinion, leading to disagreements off the board and a general feeling of 'don't need this crap' leading to some much-needed time out. How long for, and in what guise he will return, is up to him, but he needs to work it through. Still, we have Brix and Goldie keeping us in check.
In Cerny's defence, all i will say is that maybe some of the players we were linked with / have been linked may have joined - however, a team on a nightmare run, dropping down the table is hardly likely to appeal. Plus, I can only imagine that there were rumblings about NW during that time being removed from his position. I enjoy what he writes, and enjoy the banter that follows but best not to let it get it personal. As QPR999 says "Remember.... We all come on here for one common cause. "
Agree, however, my comment above still stands. Maybe if he wasn't so obstinate in his claims, especially when they prove to be wrong so often, then he wouldn't polarise members' opinions so much.
Thought he was on his hols - was it in relation to the same issue as North? With Buz starting games we need his impartial comments
CernyB? Suffering in the cause of a perceived duty to us? Oh please... He loves nothing more than to get us going. Bob's right when he calls CB a wum. Cerny's probably the biggest and certainly the best wum on this site. Most wums are negative and spiteful. This one's neutral, deliberately provacative and highly entertaining judging by the consistent volume of responses to his threads. Like I say, it's all a game of fox and hounds with him but in this case one entirely led by the fox. When he's ready, he pops up with an attractive possibility expressed as a certainty - and TALLY-HO, off we go again! Is Cerny ITK? Talking Rangers on here all day long makes us all ITK at some level or other... but he's a bit more so because he gossips to 'insiders' given half a chance - and in so doing, is always sniffing out his next 'scoop'. Whilst Cerny would love his 'predictions' to be right all the time, he well knows circumstance says he'll rarely be vindicated. However, the fact that he chooses not to use indefinites like may, might, could, should etc. in his predictions, strongly suggests he enjoys the wind-up factor just as much... and judging by the level and nature of responses he gets, so do we!! Fact is, if we do as Nines asks, and leave Cerny alone, the fun goes out of it and we lose something of what makes this board as interesting as it is. More power to Cerny's ('Spanish') elbow!!

Hammersmith Blue hasn't vanished...just changed his name to Londonsfinest....but dont tell him most on here realise it or it will upset him
On the subject of CB , as said by a few others its not what he says just the pompous and pious way that it comes over. Maybe he doesn't mean it to come over like that but sorry it does (to me anyway)

Damn Brix, you're good with words! Completely agree. For me it's a love/hate relationship. And I for one wouldn't be without CB on this board. I love giving you stick from time to time and I'm sure you like taking it. Keep on posting Cerny
