Cerney Berney from a newbie

I joined this forum yesterday, for the same reason as many of you.. For a bit of banter, chat, friendly disagreement and to share my love of QPR. And thanks - it's been fun.
However, as a new boy, I can offer the perspective of an outsider. I don't know any of you - or you me - of course. In some threads, I have read of genuinely hurt feelings, accusations of threats of violence - all sorts of negative emotions that I'm quite sure nobody posts on here to feel. So, I want to give a bit of achromatic advice. IGNORE HIM. Reaction is what he wants and feeds off. He'll go away. Sure he may come back under another name but you'll soon see through that.
Just thought I'd be brave and share. Peace. Here endeth the lesson!!
(Now back to speculating about transfers and arguing about Barton)

It really isn't like this as a rule. You can find real debate and banter on here I promise. To show just how friendly we are we welcome all sorts. We've even a resident Norwich fan called col who's incorporated rangers into his user name out of respect for the Hoops and a Liverpool lover from Dublin. Bless Em!

My thoughts too. He had this whole gig pretty much thrown at him unasked. Him and Goldhawk pretty much leave us to get on with it for the most part, unless we step massively out of line. "Self-policing" was the expression I think.

Pete - very good post mate, welcome. Tel, Swords, Bob, 74, Queenslander et al - this is getting beyond a joke and seriously boring. You are all top posters, genuinely add value to the board. But we all know what you think of Cerny by now ( and you know I share your views). Just ignore him, he's ill, but won't seek help until he's starved of attention. This should be a great week for us, against all the odds still in the prem and an exciting future to look forward to. I come on here expecting news, gossip, debate and never know which threads have been hijacked into endless incestuous arguments about CB. Poor Nines has been reduced to recycling old threads to escape this! It's going to be a long summer, I want to be on here contributing, debating, disagreeing with Rs fans. I'm putting CB on my ignore list ( only other member Hammersmith Blue) because he's not an Rs fan, knows nothing about football and is not interested in this community. There are posters I regularly disagree with, but I know love the Rs with a passion as strong as, or even stronger than mine ( stand up Flyer!). CB can keep posting crap for as long as he likes, and will as long as he gets a response. Starve him.

God knows what this summer has in store for us rollercoaster junkies but it has to be a lot better than last year DOESN'T IT? Anyone else and we'd be looking at a couple of signings, players leaving, new kits, a sponsor deal, season ticket prices etc. etc.. All great fun I'm sure.

But for us it's bound to be something else, loads of drama (TF done for fraud, Rs banished to Conference etc...) with the normal progressions fading into the background. Who knows what's round the corner with this club????

That fella with the uncannily similar name... must admit, still trying to get my head round that... is he your Hyde.. just saying I'm not ruling it out!! I honestly can't remember when I've been so excited about a season than the next one. Normally I'm bored with transfer speculation and it's cricket time by now. Not this year. We might WIN A TROPHY! HUZZAH!!

 

That's Oddball, hes just trying to psyche me out. Doing a bloody good job of it as it happens.

 

After SB's excellent post surely there is nothing more to say. Can’t all these CB related threads be locked and allowed to die?
