I have never been big on breakfasts, partly due to prefering to spending the time in bed before going on to work. However, this has not stopped me being very partial to cereals during the day. One of my all time favourites is Weetabix. In the winter I'm particularly keen on having these with hot milk and a fair helping of sugar. Rice Krispies have always been nice as well. Toast is always a nice alternative but I can eat too much of that and it can ruin the figure. What are you guys tucking into later?
A full English breakfast. Its one of the many civilising contributions that England has given to the world - along with football and Noel Edmonds. Don't like cereal at all - its strictly for Labour voters.
As long as it is without beans, when having a Wetherspoons fry up I'd try and replace it with an extra sausage.
Jokes aside, Wetherspoons breakfast is the Danny Murphy of fry ups. Try the Olive Tree at Bromley South, a very decent set brekkie for a fiver, although their Black Pudding very quickly puts you on the toilet.
Surprised you get time for breakfast, seeing you struggle with that XXL cup of tea every morning must wear you out ?
On a serious note, someone told me years ago that there are two ways you judge the quality of an English breakfast - - the standard of the sausages - the standard of the baked beans Wetherspoons sausages taste like recycled dog sh1t - only with less meat content. Wetherspoons baked beans are runnier than your bowel movements after a mild chicken korma.
What happened to the cereals or toast? Unless this thread is renamed "Gut busting Full English - Wetherspoons or Toby Carvery" I might consider hitting the report button and getting into a convoluted and overly polite exchange with brb...
Cheeky. No, it's Crunchy nut cornflakes for me, with very cold milk. (pop the milk in the freezer half an hour before breakfast, gets it nice and chilled). Full English on either a Saturday or Sunday as a treat.
I'm gonna have some of this over the weekend. It certainly beats my ham and cheese baguette with Lucozade from Greggs.
