Forget strikers for a while, what about the situation at centre-back. Apparantly Williamson is out for around 6 weeks, so what if Taylor or Collo get injured/suspended in that time?

We failed to get Situ, Tavernier is out on loan, and Kadar is not rated anymore.

So who would come in? Perch? Can Santon cover CB?

It would seem that if anything does happen to either of them we are screwed.

Tav can be recalled. Also Kadar can still play can't he - nothing against him playing.

Also I wouldn't trust Tav as a CB - he is tall enough and if we end up playing Stoke/Blackburn - we need Saylor/Collo/Willo/Kadar playing. Hope Pards doesn't resign Sol

Santon can play anywhere across back 4 according to journalists in Italy.

Simmo and Santon can both play CB allegedly, we also have Kadar rotting in the reserves.

Something is clearly going to happen to either Taylor or Colo against QPR. It is just our luck, bound to happen

Coloccini very rarely gets injured, I think hes played almost every game since arriving so not worried too much about him but Taylor is the injury prone one, its only a matter of time before he gets his annual long term injury.

Hope them 2 can manage every game this season. If they do I can't see us finishing outside the top 10 but if one gets injured then yep, we are ****ed

He can play right back - not sure how he could cope at centre back

Hasn't Simpson played centre back before? Despite being 5foot 8

I can see us signing a CB on a free, if not we're genuinely screwed!

    Any ideas who though?

Not ideal but we have that many midfielders we could have a reshuffle and play tiote at cb,im sure he cud play there if needed!
