Waken up call!
Marks out of ten for tonight's "performance"

Gordon 6 not much to do but saved us when needed
Lustig 7 did well but no support from man ( supposedly) in front of him, defended well
Simunovic 6 quiet and did what he had to do
Tierney 7 as ever, up to the job. defended well but, like Lustig, had nothing in front of him
Ajer 6 again, did what he had to nothing spectacular
Armstrong 4 not his best performance, lacked confidence
Brown 5 started well but too many missed passes spoiled his night
Ntcham 4 too many square balls, largely ineffective
Rogic 6 no support from fellow midfielders but did show some skill & effort
Forrest 4 not a night to remember, lack of runs and no communication with Lustig
Sinclair 1 useless, totally useless - found out - a passenger!

No point in mentioning the subs.

Manager 4 Brendan had lots of other options in regard to the striker options and I feel he came up well short here. Lesson learned? I sincerely hope so. Totally different game plan required in the return leg.

Hold that result. Only a 3 for BR. A mark off for failing to notice how poor Sinclair was!

Yep, very disappointing performance from the team as a whole - far too slow and laboured in the build-up play at this level and never looked like scoring. Rosenborg were, their trademark, very solid in defence & we're fortunate not to have been 2 or maybe even 3 down on their counters!

Only positives for me are:-
young Ajer showing he's very capable (although naively suckered into a couple of 'fouls' by Bendtner backing into him - lessons, no doubt, from which he'll learn);
that Rosenborg don't have an away goal advantage;
we can and surely will, play better 2nd leg;
and
hopefully Griffiths will be back for the away game.

Dire last night but still confident we'll go through.

Having said that, to leave ourselves with one fit CB and no strikers, is more than just bad luck.

What's that you're shouting, Peter? I can't hear you from the back of the bus!

Well done to you buoys!! That was a tough one. Whatever the outcome of the next round, at least you have European football until December. Of course I hope you reach the Champions League Group Stage, which is more than Arsenal managed!! What are the odds of getting Liverpool in the final round? High I expect!!

We can`t get Liverpool in the play offs.

Much, much better tonight. Far more commitment, desire & hunger as well as better organisation. No individual marks out of 10 tonight but a 7.5 overall for the team and manager. Special mention for KT who was exceptional despite being clobbered a few times. Hail Hail - and don't forget we can only get better!

Yet to concede a goal home or away. Now look capable of going most places and winning. Have now gone over 6,000hrs of competitive football without losing :) Guaranteed Euro football to at least crimbo time. Millions more banked, with the real possibility of tens of millions more to come!

And, a Judicial review under wayhayyyyy!!!

Lurking Zombies, Get. It. Right. ****ing. Up. You.
