Until I joined Rangers pages on Facebook, I had never really seen many people with the surname Pollock, but by **** I see them all the time now. Is it a fairly well known name in NI?

 

Up round Ballymena/Ballymoney and other planter places in Co.Antrim yeah. Don’t know anyone in Belfast with the name tbh although I’m sure there are.

When I went to Australia in 1996 (I was only about 3 years of age) for a working holiday, the bird I shared a gaff with was from Colraine area and was called Gillian Armstrong and she knew the name but never thought anything of it. Now I wear it as a badge of honour/bigotry.
