Fundamentally not true. There have been many very talented players that use Scotland as a stepping stone. Not one person can say VVD for example is a bad player. Truth is that the majority that go from Scotland to England succeed. We shouldn't talk down our league.

Eddie, Turnbull, Ajer, Barasic, Aribo, Jack, Kent, Kamara, Frimpong, Turnbull, Morelos plus more could all to on to have decent careers in the Premier League.

Going back to McFadden, Snodgrass and Naismith and all the other Rangers players that left (Shagger, Davis etc) and The Hamilton two of MaCarthur and McCarthy all the way to Celtic selling Forster, Wanyama, Armstromg, VVD, KT etc, and even Hibs selling McGinn, Utd selling Robertson they've all done well. Far better than the Premier league superstars that have come the other way and shat the bed.

Our league is nowhere near as bad as portrayed.

You denying Ajer and Eddie as being players that will go into great things is as mad as Eddie shouting 'steroids' and saying Aribo won't have a great Premier League career.

 

I thought Turnbull was just a new age Christie, then I saw him slip Ajer thro with a nice outside of the foot pass and thought hmmm maybe he’s decent. Still reckon he’s vastly overrated but jury’s still out for this Jewish Adonis.

 

Ajer is dung - been found out all of this season both in the League and in Europe.

Ajer is not even close to being dung. His footballing ability will walk in the Premier League. Guy clearly has a lot of talent.

Ajer has all the qualities to be a brilliant Premier League CB. As much as I don't want to.agree with Eddie, IMHO French Eddie is the player in Scotland right now that will have the best 'career'. He's levels above everyone. If say Brendan come in for him (Vardy aging and he's worked well with him) he'll succeed. The level just below is Barasic, Ajer, Aribo. These guys will move on and do well.

He is useless against anyone who gets tight to him.

Sorry - I just don't see the hype.

You look at the quality of forward/striker who plays in the EPL and they will have a field day.

He got shown up in Europe this year - that is clearly a level above the SFPL and he didn't cut it.

I can't agree. The majority of Premier league class don't play the way a Ross County forward will play. I honestly see a true footballing brain in him. He has talking intelligence and pitch awareness that is beneficial in a better league. I rate him highly.

 

Sure Celtic had a good 30 odd minutes against us in the last Sevco v Paedo game but did they really do that much with it?
