Don't need to go into any historical background on this one, surely. They're an easy team to dislike and they're an easy set of ***** fans to dislike also (my good wife and father-in-law excepted, obviously) There's bound to be some commemoration for Sean Fallon before the game. I'm thinking it could be quite an emotionally charged one and, if that's the case and the place is full, Herts (going with the ***** indigenous pronunciation today) will get ****ed EXTRA INCENTIVE: If we win tomorrow and St Mirren also win, Hearts will be at least third from bottom That's worth the extra effort on its own. I'm not going tomorrow - gave my ticket to one of my daughters. I have a prior engagement Anyway, hope the team clicks and the second half against Steau proves to keep the team from freezing up over the break.
Hearts have 2 players suspended Zuluikas and Stevenson and 2 or 3 players out injured , we are fresh and players now playing for champion league slots , surely a few goals in our favour
We've got to be big favourites for it. They've been mince recently and some of their best players are out. I just hope the team are right up for it - I reckon the team talk will have Fallon's name in it and the team should be going on the park knowing that only the best will do tomorrow.
Huns thought they were getting 5 million for him , once he had played , 50 games, then a 100 games and all the add ons( winning prem and c/l) . Lucky if he played 5 games for them and they got 500,000
it's a strange one indeed. he would have been far better off staying at der huns and playing regular football. is he the only man to get a cap for scotland whilst playing reserve football?
Yep, about the only player who I can think of who would have been better off staying put, but to be fair to him I seem to recall Rangers were keen to sell as money was tight at that time.
Surely any player even Danny Wilson was better to get to hell out of Rangers. I cannot imagine many players when asked by their grand children about their Playing career saying I was part of the Hun team that died. That would be something better not on their CV.
Team news: Zaluska; Matthews, Lustig, Mulgrew, Izaguirre; Brown, Wanyama, Ledley, Samaras; Commons, Hooper Subs: Thomson, Gershon, Lassad, Rogne, Kayal, McGeouch, Stokes I was half expecting to see Hoopers name missing. Also, what's wrong with the big goalie? Not even on the bench.
Sore neck apparently. By the interview Lennon just did, sounds like it would take closer to £10 million for us to let Hooper go.
