Celtic have the chance to cut the gap on Rangers tonight with a home tie against the Fifers.

Lennon still has something of a shortage at the back with Loovens, Rogne, Mulgrew, Izzaguirre, M Wilson and K Wilson still unavailable for selection.

Wanyama is expected to keep his place at CB alongside Majstorovic.

A victory tonight would see the points gap cut to seven and with another home tie against St Mirren scheduled for Saturday ahead of Ranger's game against Kilmarnock on Sunday, Celtic have a real opportunity to cut further into their rivals once seemingly unassailable lead.

Sky sports said we will go with same team as Saturday , surely we don't need the punt up to Samaras against Dunfermline at home .Rest him and bring in Commons , Kaddouri was poor at left back on Sat, put Ledley back there and bring Ki into the middle is the other possible change .Or to we keep the same back 4 for the first time in the league this season

I'm expecting Forrest to have a field day against the Dunfermline LB Austin McCann. Watched the highlights of the St Mirren v Pars game at the weekend and he turns slower than an oil tanker. He makes Majstorovic look quick!

i agree, drop the morocan bomb scare and put ledley at lb (unless chic is available) play commons or paddy instead of sammy. would be nice to beat them 4-0 nil or so but would take a one nil right now

The problem with moving Ledley to LB is that we'll miss his runs into the box from midfield. I'm no fan of Kaddouri but if he can't handle himself against the Pars at home then he should really just give up football!

What is it with us and left backs?

i wish i had the confidence in him that he could handle himself against the pars. agree that we may miss ledley's runs

not sure what you mean about left backs

Danny Fox, Edson Braffied, lee naylor, mo camara <whistle>

Austin McCann is out for Dunfermline tonight ,Forrest will have another poor player to run at .Never forget Mccann goal for Hearts last minute before we went off to our european semi final , that goal cost us the league 2003

Wilson and Loovens are back in training apparently. Wilson even has a shot of playing tonight.

Ledley is too valuable in the middle IMO, play the new blackman guy in there or just go with Kadauri. McCourt or Commons in for Sammy who doesn't deserve another start.

It would be great just to have a settled back four for a while. Get everyone back from injury and:

    Matthews - K Wilson - Mulgrew - Izzy

With Wanyama in the anchor role.

I think we have to accept Rogne is a walking sick note , agree there is a player there but he has never played three consecutive games for us

Celtic have signed the Swedish defender Ludwig on a pre contract , not bad considering Fulham and espanyol were in for him

Is this not just a case of a player getting better the longer he's out injured?
