The United Kingdom is a democracy and the citizens have a right to protest against the state's army, especially since the army was involved in murdering it's own citizens.

Your club is a ****ing disgrace, always has been, always will be.

You had players and supporters associated with YOUR club who have died in the Wars securing the freedom for us all and this is how you display your "appreciation"?

I don't see anything wrong with criticisng the British army. They are an army, not the baby ****ing jesus.

I think the hundreds of thousands of people killed in Iraq would agree with me on this.

Micky don't exaggerate, If Saddam was still in power their would be a lot more deaths than the hundred of thousands you mention

That's because you're just as bad as those ****ing clowns who shame Scotland.

You're Irish yourself, we don't need your **** in Scotland. If you want to come out with all these anti-British Army protests, then stay away from Scotland and do it in Ireland. We don't want you.

Football stadiums are for football supporters, not politics.

100s of 1000s of Iraqis killed? Let me tell you a little story from my time in Baghdad. I used to be based at Camp Victory (Saddam's old hunting and fishing estate just outside Baghdad) where he would spend his weekends, well, hunting and fishing. From the former director of Iraqi T.V (who came and worked for the Allies and spent time at our little bar there) "you know, I never thought I'd see the day when people would actually pull fish from this lake and not dead bodies" "What do you mean?" I asked. He then proceeded to tell me how Saddam and his Bath Party favourites would come down for the weekend, and from their villas around the lake, would shoot at the passing servants and cheer for every one they killed. A lackie or 2 would then be sent to dispose of the body in the lake where I fished.

Or perhaps we could chat about his Perfume Palace on Camp Slayer (which was where he kept his whores) where if they ever refused sex, then they would have their vaginas removed before being tossed from one of the many balconies of the building.

You don't have a clue as you haven't been there.

The country of my fathers was partitioned by the British after years of exploitation and misrule. Hundreds of thousand of people died in that partition. Millions were displaced and lost homes and land. Despite that India has forgiven the Brits and we now get on very well. I don't understand why the Irish can't let go of a much older conflict?

These Celtic fans are a disgrace to the club and to Britain.

I'm not exagerating, over 200,000 deaths is the estimate - and as much as Saddam was a bastard and needed to go I doubt he would have killed that many of his own people in that period, even if he did kill that many in the past. As much as I think there are many positive things about Britain, and indeed most of my friends are British - I still don't want to honour your army in any way, and the majority of people who grew up where I did would feel the same way and have perfectly legitimate reasons to do so.

Jasbir, the British army are a living memory for me and indeed the soldiers I can remember are most probably still alive and reaping the benefits of the donations many people pass on to the British Legion. I think that is the difference.

    Like I said, you haven't a clue.

Of one his son's, Uday, was a particularly nice lad. He had his own private zoo at one of his palaces in Baghdad. If a woman turned him down, he just threw her into the den to be eaten by the lions.

He also had a habit of cruising Baghdad in his Ferrari where he would signal to his back up car to pick up the girl he signalled. The reason he walked with a limp, is because the father of one girl who he used that tactic on ended up getting beaten to death by him after she put up a struggle. The father of the dead girl sought revenge and nearly got it when he opened fire on Uday as he waited at lights in downtown Baghdad with an AK but didn't finish the job before getting killed by his bodyguards.

Oh, did I tell you about the gassing of his own citizens? How about the time when he decapitated an opposition member with a sword for a laugh?

You really don't have a clue.

Ok so away into Saudi Arabia and sort that mob out too since they are stoning women to death for having affairs - oh that's right that won't happen as they are an ally despite having ridiculously bad human rights records. The same goes with Israel, the same went with President Musharef in Pakistant who despite being a dictator was a handy ally when it came to invading Afghanistan - I could go on.

Whatever the motives were in invading Iraq it was not to simply liberate the Iraqi people - if so they would have finished the job in Gulf War I when Saddam had already committed most of the crimes you note above.

I hear what you say Mick but my religion teaches forgiveness and peace. Doesn't yours? If we pass on hatred to our children then we will never reach Moksha. I don't know how to translate that but it means bliss. We as Hindus believe that our actions lead to continual reincarnation depending on your karma. Continual hatred means you will never escape this. If you forgive you (and your children) will be released and be better people for it.

    <laugh> DEFLECT! DEFLECT! DEFLECT!

So shooting servants for sport is the same as punishing a woman / man for breaking the LAW in that respective country? That is THEIR law, citizens KNOW not to break it. Hardly the same as putting on the old tweed sports jacket and putting one between the eyes of some guy serving tea! <doh>

I know, poor old Israel defending itself against suicide bombers, mortar fire, kidnapping of Israeli soldiers <doh>

Pakistan? You mean that Al Queda hotbed? The same Pakistan where they (Americans) are pumping millions of dollars into in order to shore up their defences against said Al Queda? <doh>

The reason they didn't finish it off was because Bush (Snr) didn't want to have to end up running Iraq for them, that's why he didn't finish the job. He wanted to bloody Saddam's nose and that he did.

    Seriously, give up.

There is a difference between hating something and refusing to honour it. I'm a complete atheist, my kids are being brought up atheist and go to non-denominational schools, my missus grew up in Germany because her mum worked for the British army - I still like her and I like her mum.

I'm still not going to pay money to a charity for the ex-soldiers who were deployed on my streets though.

BH you've an IQ of about 60. That's the problem with armies, if they didn't have little dicks like you running about thinking they are rambo they might not have so much hatred towards them.

Mick that is true and I did not mean to offend. I will still say mantras tonight for all those who still hate. Like those disgraceful Celtic fans in Baldrick's video.

Peace and harmony. Lord Ganesha will watch over you.

You see, my problem isn't really with the uneducated fools that held these banners up - they know no better.

But what were the Celtic hierachy doing when this was being unfurled?

And what about the Stewards and the Police, where were they?

And the Celtic fans that are proud to wear the Poppy - what about them?

Make no mistake, Celtic have just scored a massive own goal here, ironically on a day when they scored 9 without reply.

Only yesterday the club felt compelled to release a statement to quash earlier stories in the tabloid press with regard to the sale of Poppies at Celtic Park.

The rest of British football must be looking at this and thinking

    " WHAT ARE THEY DOING?"

There can be no excuse for these banners and I fully expect this to have major repercussions for Celtic FC.<ok>

They're rotten from top to bottom, Rocket. Make no mistake about it. That club is nothing but an embarrassment to Scotland at a time when Scottish football needs a cash injection urgently.

Which CEO in their right mind is going to want his company associated with Scottish football when he sees this sort of filth? Not one and you can't blame them. The products of his company would be left gathering dust on the shelves.

As per usual though, the Scottish media will neglect to print this picture. Hopefully the ENGLISH media won't though ;-)
