Folks, I'll fire them up here as they come out. I think they are worth a listen. If you like them, subscribe. I know there are a couple of listeners on here already. Celticunderground V The LostBhoys 2012 http://celticunderground.net/index....v-the-lostbhoys-2012&catid=34:audio&Itemid=58 It's time for the annual Celtic Podcast crossover. This week Eddie is joined by Jamie and Chris from the Lostbhoys podcast and together they produce a rambling effort which really doesn't do justice to the otherwise fairly decent material both podcasts usually offer. Basically the three of them just talk rubbish for 2 hours. Fortunately this is only 1 hour's worth but the bad news is that the second half of this year's nonsense can be found on the Lostbhoys website. The good news is that we only do this once a year.
http://www.lostbhoys.com/2012/01/chris/podcast-127-up-late-on-a-school-night Podcast 127 Up Late on a School Night. This is part 2 of our annual joint podcast with www.CelticUnderground.net as Eddie Pearson joins us for some late night chat and chinwagging. Scotland, Internationals, Team GB and questions sent in by lots of people on Twitter all get the once over. We also look at the various outlets for Celtic’s on line community both Official and Fanbased and predict what’s gonna be next (okay, that last bit is a lie). KK reports live from East End Park and as we cruise to victory over the Pars.
i usually listen to both podcasts. my only real complaint is jamie on the lost bhoys. he seems to have no idea what so ever about football. other than that both decent to listen to. I really enjoy the celtic wiki bit.
His Celtic journey is just beginning. I love that Chris has inflicted that upon him. I've done it to a few folk in my time.
I have listened to the Underground one a few times, the other one bored me to tears when I gave it a listen.
I can see why you'd say that Tom but I like all the **** talk too. I have finished part I. I'd not recommend it as a first venture into Celtic podcasting but I did enjoy it, mainly because I like them anyway. I have just started part II and the discussion is about fan based media. I am going more and more that way in seeking news about the club.
celtic underground podcast 167 is now available for down load. only listened to the intro but not sure it is going to be a cracker as Eddie more less says its a load of pish he couldnt be bothered with.
I have two cars. One has a cassette and the other a CD. I drive the old one all the time because I can get the I pod plugged in to one of those cassette jack things. The itrip thingy doesn't work so well in the other car.....mainly because of the existence of Highland radio. People are surprised if i turn up in the better car. ...... I love the crappy car because I can listen to podcasts. People think I am mad.....but **** em.
Podcast 168 is out http://hw.libsyn.com/p/a/8/d/a8d209...26940259&hwt=908929c33ba5788353697af94f60576f This week Lachiemor joins Eddie and together they take a look back at the recent Dundee United game. They discuss the team Neil Lennon selected and the nervous atmosphere that seemed to overpower the stands as the second half wore on. They discuss the form of the players and welcome the return of Kris Commons to the side. Next they take a look at the transfer window and discuss whether the squad needs to be reduced. The best way to run a football club is commented on and it looks like Celtic might not be that far off from being spot on. They finish by looking ahead to the St Mirren game and ask whether we can go one better than Rangers by winning at New St Mirren Park. Krys joins us again with another of his excellent reports from the most recent Celtic Graves event - this time celebrating the life of Neil McCallum, the scorer of the first Celtic goal.
listened to 168 today, quite enjoyed it. lost bhoys latest one has been downloaded but not listened yet
Interesting about big Lurch being a latecomer to football.....even if it isn't true, I am going to repeat it anyway. I do like the audio from the graves society at the end. even if the jokes are ****e.
not sure its true, my wife is from a place called prudhoe in northumberland, the next village west is stocksfield and by all accounts he played junior football for stocksfield before playing for wallsend boys club (top boys team in newcastle, thommo played there) he definately went to a rugby playing school tho
I am glad you know that, but at the same time a little upset that I can't repeat it without knowing there is a good chance I could be fibbing.
Not a podcast but from the CU site. http://www.celticunderground.net/in...=83&utm_source=twitterfeed&utm_medium=twitter
Tonight on reporting Scotland news program they did a news report on woody Guthrie daughter an American folk singer coming to scotland Tthroughout the footage they played a very popular tune , "This land is your land ",did any of you know that Woody Guthrie sang it first ??? Available on you tube
