The old facing of the main stand was much better than the "90s office" McLean Homes brick and glass at the front now - it just needed a blasting. I'm fairly old but even I don't remember that press box on the main stand Also, I used to love how the floodlights at the Celtic end were outside the roof whilst the ones up the other end went through the roof. My overriding memory of the old stadium was the green iron girders that held the roof up bouncing with the noise at old firm and European games <memories><shatit>
I've been to many game at the old Parkheed, to see Celtic I hasten to add. My uncle is a big Tim and I was quite close to my cousin growing up and me and him used to go to Parkhead one week with his dad and Ibrox the next week with my dad/granda. I went to a Celtic v Dumbarton game, which I think was the first ever game I went to see, and I met some guys from my school who were shouting "wit you dain here, you're a Rangers fan" The last Celtic game I went to not involving Rangers was at Old Trafford for Brian McClairs testemonial, anything for a few days of school. I think that is a very foolish remark, there is no way you can prove it and I think you should withdraw it as you are only making a fool of yourself.
I would withdraw it Pope, but you've quoted it and even if I do withdraw it, it'll still be in your post and everyone will see how much of a fool that I've made of myself.
