Celtic has always had a malevolent side. An eternal flame of hate has burned at this club since it first hatched from its rotten egg in the late nineteenth century. An underlying hostility towards Scotland has always existed at Parkhead, and rather than it fading with the passage of time, fuel continues to pour on the flames as grievance is taken to a new level: a case-study level. Victory on the field is always welcomed, but Celtic win even when they lose. While triumph is celebrated and enjoyed, defeat is greeted as an inevitable consequence of imagined anti-Celtic prejudice - and so blame is apportioned away from Parkhead. When Celtic lose, they believe they could have won if only officials had been honest, and when they do win, they celebrate their greatness because only ingenuity and exceptional skill can defeat perceived anti-Celtic forces. This kind of delusion, in all probability, is a terminal condition. It is rooted in Celtic's soul, and it's almost unimaginable that Celtic could become a well-balanced club: a normal club. If Celtic was a person, it would be a multi-syndromed, one-off case study to be pored over by men in white coats, but as it is a football club, it is best viewed with the kind of suspicion and unease that one feels when in the presence of a madman. To publicly speak out against Celtic is to invite accusations of bigotry and sectarianism, and so Scotland's journalists tend to opt for an easy life - a cowardly life - by steering well clear of upsetting super-sensitive and easily offended Celtic-minded types. Its history is revisionism at its worst and simpletons masquerading as journalists buy into it with a naivety which is troubling. Celtic was a sectarian band of brothers from the outset, which it was quite entitled to be, but this is an inconvenient truth in 2010 so it is deleted by people who think - they know - the history. Celtic is a rebel without a cause, and a rebel without a clue; this old club has engaged reverse gear in recent times to embrace an imagined glorious victimhood, and this is where the shadier side of Celtic lives: in a timewarp of its own construction. There are people in high places at Celtic who want to move the club into the light, but for now at least, Celtic is a football club that is not fit for purpose.
well said Rocket, you notice how the lesser Glasgow club has shut up since the referees threatened to go on strike

Freemasonry has tenets peculiar to itself. They serve as testimonials of character and qualifications, which are only conferred after due course of instruction and examination. These are of no small value; they speak a universal language, and act as a passport to the attentions and support of the initiated in all parts of the world. They cannot be lost as long as memory retains its power. Let the possessor of them be expatriated, shipwrecked or imprisoned, let him be stripped of everything he has got in the world, still those credentials remain, and are available for use as circumstances require. The good effects they have produced are established by the most incontestable facts of history. They have stayed the uplifted hand of the destroyer; they have softened the asperities of the tyrant; they have mitigated the horrors of captivity; they have subdued the rancor of malevolence; and broken down the barriers of political animosity and sectarian alienation. On the field of battle, in the solitudes of the uncultivated forest, or in the busy haunts of the crowded city, they have made men of the most hostile feelings, the most distant regions, and diversified conditions, rush to the aid of each other, and feel a special joy and satisfaction that they have been able to afford relief to a Brother Mason.ÃÆÃâÃâ ââ¬â¢ÃÆââ¬Â âââ‰â¢ÃÆÃââââ¬à ¡ÃÆââ¬Å¡ÃââÃÆÃâÃâ ââ¬â¢ÃÆââ¬Å¡ÃââÃÆÃâÃââÃÆââââ¬à ¡ÃâìÃÆââ¬Â¦ÃâáÃÆÃââââ¬à ¡ÃÆââ¬Å¡ÃâìÃÆÃâÃâ ââ¬â¢ÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâ¦Ã¡ÃÆÃââââ¬à ¡ÃÆââ¬Å¡ÃâÃÂ
