Just some of the quotes from another forum. None of these are from Bears or ICT fans. Finally other clubs and their fans are beginning to realise what a horrible, poisonous institution Celtic FC truly are. They are wholly despicable.
I think the last comment summed it up for me Why don't you go home, why don't you go home, Scotland can't stand you, why don't you go home
This thread is very one sided so in the interests of impartiality i will say a few words in defence of Celtic : Nah , will i **** !!!!
Nobody likes us, so it's situation normal. No change really but we are always only a day away from the whole of Scotland turning on Rangers again, the other fans hate us equally but it's our turn in the stocks. These things are cyclical, we're Public Enemy No1 but Rangers are still at No2. When the truth comes out about what the Refs really want then people will thanks Celtic Fc, in fact you should thank us for getting rid of Dallas except we had no hand in that, which is a shame. The whole SFA is rotten from top to bottom with cronyism and self protection, we need forward thinkers running the show, if some of them happen to be ex Gers men like John Grieg then all well and good, as long as we get real change. This is'nt about Celtic Vs the SFA, it's in everyone's interest to flush out these turds and get a modern staff running the SFA using modern principles, not commitees and sub-commities who take months to do anything and then they usually get it wrong. They are a bunch of dinosaurs, the SFA is not a business it's a museum exhibit. Regan seems to be determined to reorganise the whole structure and I for one am behind him 100%.
Clarification F.C currently have 2 of their representatives in powerful positions within the SFA, Rangers have none.
please log in to view this image The SFA committee structure does seem something af a historical anachronism
And I just said clear them all out. If 2 Tic men go so what? I don't care who takes over as long as they are good at their job and really want change.
Intelesting vely intelesting....... please log in to view this image So tell me Lucy, what do the Refs really want? Is this yet another conspiracy theory?
Ok so i seem to have come to the right place, you lads all seem to know what "conspiracy theories" and "allegations of bias" Celtic have been spouting in the last 6 weeks, the press have mentioned them, anyone care to list them for me?
We're still waiting on you explaining the quote below. What DO the Refs REALLY want? And I certainly won't be "thanking " Celtic for anything other than appointing Lennon manager and handing Sir Walter 3 in a row
I remember that catfight between Linda Evans and Joan Collins. Wouldn't have minded being tag-teamed by them two, shoulder pads anaw
The Refs want NO criticism from anyone, that's why they asked Regan to write to every club in Scotland, asking them to state that they believed every Ref was above reproach. They want to be the only people in Scotland who are above any form of criticism whatsoever. Does that sound reasonable? One immediate problem is Dougie Dougie, he has already proved he is not averse to the odd porkie when it suits, yet everone is supposed to ignore that inconvenient truth? He may be a solitary rotten apple in the barrel but if Refs get their way no one will ever know because no one will be able to ask reasonable questions about refereeing decisions, that part of the game will be off limits. Players managers and fans will be open to investigation but the Refs will have a "get out of jail free" card to push their fingers in their ears and go nanananana. I may be totally wrong here but that's the problem with the Refs, no one has been told why the Refs have downed tools, they unlike anyone else in an employment dispute, have failed to tell anyone why they are taking this action. Here's what Fraser Wishart (a Gers man) said: Talking to a brick wall? Farce surrounding our game epitomises problems we face in Scotland, says Fraser Wishart I have been a bemused onlooker this week as the battle between referees and the authorities has come to a head. My bewilderment may not be unusual, but I am further confused as players have become implicated and their behaviour towards referees questioned, yet PFA Scotland has had no contact from anyone concerned. I recall writing in this very newspaper last year, and then again only a few weeks ago, about the refereeing structures and lack of communication. The current farce that surrounds our game epitomises the problems we face in Scotland. If referees have a problem with players I have a novel idea; let PFA Scotland, as their union, actually know what they are. The only way a situation such as this will be resolved is through proper dialogue. Referees, however, are in danger of alienating the vast majority within the game who would support them; players could be allies rather than an enemy. A press statement from the governing bodies yesterday astonishingly told of promises of tougher and more immediate sanctions on players and club officials who abuse referees and match officials, and especially those who challenge their integrity and honesty. Promises? While I am extremely unhappy at this unilateral decision, I will take this up on behalf of our members; fans rest easy, players will not down tools in protest but have formal dialogue and negotiations with the SFA. I am concerned that the authorities seem to be making referees promises here without proper consultation with the playersÃÆÃâÃâ ââ¬â¢ÃÆââ¬Â âââ‰â¢ÃÆÃââââ¬à ¡ÃÆââ¬Å¡ÃââÃÆÃâÃâ ââ¬â¢ÃÆââ¬Å¡ÃââÃÆÃâÃââÃÆââââ¬à ¡ÃâìÃÆââ¬Â¦ÃâáÃÆÃââââ¬à ¡ÃÆââ¬Å¡ÃâìÃÆÃâÃâ ââ¬â¢ÃÆââ¬Å¡ÃââÃÆÃâÃââÃÆââââ¬à ¡ÃâìÃÆââ¬Â¦ÃâþÃÆÃââââ¬à ¡ÃÆââ¬Å¡Ãââ union. I thought we had moved into the 21st century but perhaps we will have to wait. Read the whole article here. http://www.heraldscotland.com/sport...ace-in-scotland-says-fraser-wishart-1.1070848
I still do not think that the enormity of the Dougie McDonald issue has been grasped, and not just the incident itself. Former referees sat in judgement of McDonald and seemingly rode against the recommendation of the chief executive. There are many former referees who see any moves towards modernisation unthinkable. I will be pushing for all matters relating to the playing of the game to be discussed by a technical committee compromising equal representatives of referees, players, managers and clubs, with Stewart Regan as the independent chair. Clubs certainly want change and Regan has made it clear he intends to conduct a review. This will not sit well with many senior members of the refereeing fraternity and may be part of this withdrawal of services. Then came the demand for a letter, from all clubs, stating that referees act with integrity. Again an unachievable outcome and this will simply anger clubs who would support referees; perhaps that was all part of the great plan. I am baffled as to why this demand was not raised from the start. Good stuff Fraser, you must be Paranoid like me.
I've never heard any of the Refs say they want NO CRITICISM from anyone - where did you see this? Criticism is something they fully expect, it's part and parcel of the game. What they don't want is death threats being made to their families and their integrity called into question. As for Dougie McDonald?... He should and probably will go, Celtic will make sure of that. Incidentally, it was never a penalty so he got that part bang on. I heard Wishart on the radio yesterday but he's not the one receiving death threats, our Refs shoudn't have to put up with this, they're doing their best in what is a very difficult job. Maybe they should have got round the table first but maybe they're just sick to the back teeth of being on the receiving end of all the ****e and decided enough was enough. Celtic are just a bunch of greetin faced bad losing bastards and it's always someone else's fault - never theirs. It's the Celtic way
One ref had an "alleged" death threat about a month ago, why did all the Refs not strike then? Why wait a month? As for their integrity that was the question I asked, who "questioned their integrity"? No one that I have seen or heard for sure. Celtic asked for "clarification" on two decisions made by Refs, no mention or allegations of bias were made with the 2 requests, if people want to imagine that by asking for "clarification" Celtic are hinting at a lack of refereeing integrity then that is their problem, that says more for the people who perceive everything Celtic Fc say as a dig at someone else. Why did the Refs not strike last year when Walter questioned the integrity of Mr Murphy? Or when Craig Levein ridiculed the integrity of Mike McCurry a couple of years back? You are guessing why Refs are on strike and so am I, but it appears the Head of the SPFA agrees with me on this one.
