    Alright guys?

Again, it's been a while since I posted, loads on like, trust we're all doing well.. Never fear though, I shan't be boring you with another long winded drawn out analysis of our squad again. ;)

Just wondering who of you are going to the Celtic game tonight? I'm going up and taking a couple of lads with me, little bit torn as to whether to sit in my usual seat in the Nin or join the lads in the Canton. Think I might sit in my seat in the Ninian as per usual.. Or maybe go up higher on the half way line to get a really good view for a change.

Looking forward to seeing how the style of play may have changed under Malky and how the new boys get in seeing as the new season is only weeks away..

Anyways, if any of you are there, I might see you there. (those of you i've met already of course)

I'll be missing the game tonight :( I'm working till 8 but I'm hoping to see if I can get it on the radio. Anyone know if there is any commentry on the radio? And I expect an in-depth match analysis since I can't make it. I'll be at the parma game though.

As it's only a friendly, what are my chances of parking in CCS ?

Or better to park in Radyr and get the train in ?

Should be plenty of on street parking in Hadfield and Bessemer Roads, max. walk 1/2 mile.

    H Bomb post.

For those of us who, for whatever reason, can't get to the CCS on Weds.

From spending a fair bit of time over in Ireland, something in the back of my mind kept telling me Celtic's pre-season games are usually shown live there so, after a little research, I found this:

    http://www.setanta.com/ie/TV-Listings/ (obviously Weds listing )

If a game is on TV it's usually streamed on myp2p as well

    http://www.myp2p.eu/broadcast.php?ma...65&part=sports

This page will update on the day though I can't guarantee what the AV quality will be like.
It's got to be better than nothing

Hi Rhondda myp2p can be mega dangerous unless you have very good firewalls on your system, my computer is used for financial services and i spent £100 a month on security, however the last time i was on the said internet channel it caused my system all sorts of problems. All i am saying is be careful. No offence meant.

What style of football? We didn't play any football as we didn't have the individuals to get and keep the ball. We were truly shocking, and I reallly don't know what they style of play was.

that dosnt sound too reassuring but we do have to take into account the fact that celtic are at the end of their pre season and we have a lot more of ours left so that will have had an effect

Just got back, thanks to BfB for the parking tip. I'm not good at this but this is how I saw thinks.

A bit of a nothing game, with some plusses. Most of the time they tried to keep the ball on the floor but a few high balls for Parkin.

The full backs were our wide men, Naylor done okay McNaughton was his usual self. Hudson looked solid and Gerrard tried do play a passing game and looked good, though lost his mark for their goal.
Witts was our best player IMO though 1 or 2 of his passed were telegraphed, Gunnarsson looked busy, Taylor & Cowie were workman like. At times we looked like a team that had only just met but at least they were all playing for each other. Parkin tried hard and had the best 2 changes a bit out of his depth, Mason drifted out of the game at times but more play time can only help.

I would sum up Work in Progress, must admit I'm quite happy with things. I think only game time is needed for a decent team.

Sounds about fair mate, work in progress, but with a couple more players to start, and Parkin put out to pasture (willing but not up to it <ok>) once the players get to know one another and get a bit of game time things will improve.

Typical pre-season friendly disrupted by substitutions and no hopers like Taiwo being given a run out.

Not particularly good, but not a disaster either.......undoubtedly more to come, but will it be enough?

One thing though MM showed more passion in a pre-season friendly than DJ did in 6 seasons, OK I realise they are different characters, but spoke to a few staff members who said that MM is like a breath of fresh air around the club, and everyone is more relaxed and happy.......less expectation perhaps?

A bit of doom & gloom on some posts, we were not that bad. We missed Conway & Earnshaw for sure.
