Dont know much about him. He seems like a good goal scorer though.

Do you think he will improve us and score goals at the top end of the EPL?

Looks ok, but lfc shouldnt be lookin at ok players , we should be lookin at top quality, ie Damiao or Llorente. If they cost £20-25m so be it, if the owners arnt prepared to spend that , they shouldnt be runnin the club

But, if we can find the right person from a lesser known place for a cheaper fee we could invest more else where.

up front, for the number 9 position we should be lookin for THE BEST, regardless of cost, I wanna see £40m net spent in Jnauary after the debacle at the end of the window, after knocking £20m a year off the wage bill, and making an extra £20m per year in sponsors, we need to start f**kin spending some of this cash, and get some top f**kin quality players

    Ie . Isco and Damiao

I know it's my age, but I'm a big fan of finding jewels in the rough. Getting players from small lower league clubs and watching them become club legends. But since we are being managed by David Brent at the mo, I think we should blow the budget on a big player who will not need his hand holding. I say pass on Hooper. Get someone who is going to terrify Premiership defences.

I'd go for Hooper. 24 years old means he is still nowhere near his peak yet he managed to play champions league football after the modestest of starts at Maldon Town (I've watched Maldon play, you can't get more modest - they are now Maldon & Tiptree, my best mate used to play for Tiptree - how's that for a tedious link??)

I think we need another stiker as well. 4 strikers + youth will then be more than enough as Hooper won't be able to play europa games (and neither would any other quality striker)

If BR is David Brent, Kenny must be Alicia Silverstone ( clueless )

    Carroll £35, worth £17m
    Dwoning £20m worth £7m
    Adam £8m worth £4m
Henderson £16m worth £9m, what a f**kin waste set us back years, and scarred FSG where they are scared to death to part with there cash

He looks decent and I would prefer him to the likes of Darren Bent or Defoe. LLorente would be a my first choice if we could get him but Hooper would a cheap option and he does look like a poacher.

Negredo for me 20 mil euro buyout, 26-27, would do it in a heartbeat. Got some size and some decent enough pace.

I have to Agree, we need to sign a world class striker! Its the one position that would make a world of difference in our team imho

Negredo is a good shout, but Llorente and Damiao are better

If we got Bent or Defoe I would go and cry in a corner, but unlike Kenny BR has a million times more sense

But does he need to move to the EPL to achieve that?

Ravenous Roy like Rooney, Welbeck and Carroll a lot.

I have a feeling we might sign a top striker, like Damio, and play them out wide, with Suarez in the middle.

Good point there about Jelavic (I assume you are talking about him) people were saying he was a good player in the Scottish league but were doubting if he could be as good in the prem but he has looked the part for Everton from day one in all honesty and maybe Hooper could be the same.
