With Gary "Heid" Caldwell now gone from Celtic the fans were wondering who the new "Heid" could be. Turns out it's Dutch international left-back Edson Braafheid on loan until the end of the season. Ajax and PSV were both keen to take the player back to Holland, however Tony Mowbray has convinced him to come to Scotland. Braafheid becomes the third Dutchman in the Celtic squad. Along with Loovens and Hooiveld.
Well thats the heid on board http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/8484330.stm Hope the **** he's batter than what we have had before and that Nalor is on his way out!!
If he was an eye patch and a peg leg he's better than Naylor although if he is just here in the short term and we won't be looking to keep him I rather have Given Caddis the position and told him yoou have 4 1/2 months to make it your own.
I agree that Caddis should be given the nod if this guy will be gone in the summer. He's at Bayern Munich, plays for Holland, wanted by Ajax & PSV so will probably cost a fair whack should he be available in the summer. He probably joined us over Ajax etc as he saw his competition was Lee Naylor & thought he'd be guarenteed football here in time for the World Cup.
