Really doubt we'll get him - he was quality in the World Cup and will have the pick of teams.

 

... think you are just being pessimistic ... the lure of the Premier league has always been attractive ... look at the players that Wigan have brought to these shores in their time ... the type of players we could attract are unlikely to be the subject of Champions League contenders and frankly we can compete with anyone else in the division ...

 

Yeah I agree, any player speaking to Pearson will be excited about the ambition of the club and we've got a better set up than the majority of Premiership clubs. Any player that has done his homework will realise that we have a very talented squad that play exciting football so why not?

... he played well again the other night against the Dutch and Liverpool have been signing left right and centre ... might just be a possibility ....

 

Seeing that Liverpool are going for the Harry Redknapp school of thinking- buying in sheer quantity- you would imagine he'd sign for them and never be seen again. Sounds like exactly the type we need though- a big presence in central midfield.
