Someone mentioned Cedric Baseya the other day. Looking (at something else) on the BBC website, I notice he's signed for Reading!

Hope he does well, from what I saw of him he had promise.

Wasn't he the one nicknamed 'Totti'? Didn't really live up to his nickname if so....

No, that was Aristotle Di Carvalho? bit of a cock, larged it around and ended up playing for Bramshaw or someone like that.

In relation to the thread. PAHAHA 4 years no professional goals, he won't play for Reading.

He went to Lille after us and was soon loaned out to Le Harve where he played about 15 matches and scored none. At 23, he's no youngster so I think he's been lucky to get this chance. Let's see if he grabs it or gets home sick again!

Probably likely to score the winner against us to be fair. If Fish doesn't, that is!!

Known Totti for years and he wasn't a "cock". He came to England when he was 13 and just got homesick and still was the best player in his age group at the academy. He made Theo look ordinary when they played together. He plays in Cyprus now.

Redbridge, hardly a hotbed for footaball talent in our age group. He was good yes, but he was nothing special, hence why i'm pretty sure he was playing wessex league.

He only went to Redbridge because he was not old enough to stay at The Lodge and Mother of the family that fostered him worked at that school & they have football connections with saints. And no he plays in Cyrpus.

He may do now, but he was playing in the wessex league. In 2007 or 2008 he was defo playing for Eastleigh ressies.

I agree Tilehurst, the amount of top-class players he's brought through the team is astounding.
Good guy, even if he does look like Matt Lucas..........
