Pat Nevin, BBC Radio 5 live

    PSG 3-1 Chelsea

"Chelsea couldn't react to Laurent Blanc's changes in the second half. Javier Pastore scored a great goal for him but two goals out the three are mistakes by Petr Cech - you don't get beaten at your near post.

"It is not David Luiz's fault for the second goal he is just trying to desperately clear it, the quality of the delivery from Ezequiel Lavezzi was fantastic. Chelsea in the first half weren't doing well from corners and free kicks. Chelsea don't put anyone on the post anymore, they employ zonal defence, if you don't win the ball and the keeper is stationary and you don't win the ball you have a problem."

    DonnyGee: Goodbye Cech. Hello Courtois.

Kenny Jarvis: Cech needs to be careful, Chelsea will look for any reason to replace him with Courtois

Mick Gaskin: Cech letting in the 3rd goal just adds more weight to the argument behind Courtois's recall for next season.

Cech never gets his fair share of criticism and we always turn blind eye on him.

For all the criticism Nando, Lamps et al gets, CECH goes scot free.

And yes, Rambo is red card anytime.

Cech just had a bad game by his standards, look what he's done over the years. You should all be ashamed.

Awful goalkeeping, the first one no blame to him but really, the second bounced 2 yards form the goal line and the third well, beaten at his near post, was quite happy with 2-1 but we did it against Napoli so lets hope for a repeat performance. Torres is useless, I might add.

No one is criticising him for what he's done over the years, just for what he's done too often this year, which is leak goals like a sieve. If there's one thing to admire about Red Nose, it's that he didn't hold on to players because of sentiment. Nor should we.

    are you for real?
most of the goals we conceded this season has been down to Cech's reluctance to come and collect the ball.

    He is so afraid.

Cech looked nervous tonight. And that made the CBs and me nervous too!

Was there a slight deflection for the third?

After Thibaut's performance last night, next season is a no brainier. Evolution over sentiment every time.

Oz, Cech is not having bad days.. his fundamental is flawed when it comes to crosses / set pieces.

Any decent goal keeper would handle these things day in day out.

I don't blame him due to his obvious history. But we cannot afford that.

Agreed the last one was lame maybe having a top class keeper like Courtois back will sharpen him up?

Thats the problem with being a keeper! Outfield you can have a stinker but the squad can cover for you! Not so in goal! Bringing back Courtois , however , is a very good idea!

Probably a bit of an over reaction although he did have a shocker tonight. Be good to have Courtois too so that if Cech does have a poor game then he can get dropped. City did it with Hart and he came back better for it. I've always rated Schwarzer but it seems he's just here as a second choice.

i felt a while back that we should have dropped cech for a few matches like city did with hart
we have a good back up keeper and cech needs to feel some pressure for his position

Yes I take my hat off to him, I was mildly critical of last weeks performance, but tonight he redeemed himself. Well done Petr, and all of the boys tonight.
