    Such a shame. 9 surgeries now - going to be a tall order to get back to his old self.

    Rivalry and banter aside I genuinely hope the guy gets to play again at the top level.
    I know he is set for life but it seems a sad way for his career to end

    A big blow to him and to us, a very good player that is sorely missed. It's a shame we never saw him play with Ozil, Sanchez and Lacazette together.

    Makes me want to cry reading that. He would have been such a great lynchpin for that attacking combo

    It is a big blow to us but we're not alien to losing quality players through injury. Two others that spring to mind are Diaby and RVP.

    But Cazorla is a player that would have pushed us further this season and made us more consistent.
