If so, we just need a decent striker to turn him inside out next season

I really don't get all the hate that many have for Caulker.....He's a good player who, like many we've done before, we have turned to ****.

Unlike many before, he hasn't come good as soon as he leaves.....I've a feeling, though I could be wrong, that he will eventually find form again.

Unllike many...he wasn't good with us...but also made no inroads at Southampton or Liverpool either ..and has a problem in "social situations" and he must be on a pretty decent wage too. I don't hate him at all Finglas, but he really is not a player I want here as we go forward. He is a remnant of times I want to forget.

Like Taarbs, I do not think he will ever turn it round

He wasn't very good at Cardiff either. Lot's of their fans felt he was the main reason for relegation from the premier. As with us, he only won balls in the opponents penalty area & never when defending.

Just wondering if JFH gets hold of him, shakes some sense into him and gets him and Hall as the CB pairing next season.......?

Nah would never work...............................or would it?

I rather like the sound of that - perhaps there's a footballer in there somewhere, awaiting a manager like JFH to extract all that dormant talent? Could certainly test that combination in pre-season training/matches. Just think of it, in addition to a CB you get a spare CF up your sleeve too.

Klopp tried that for 3 minutes, and never played him again.

A Staines/Finglas hybrid would be a truly awesome sight. Gene splicing ahoy!

whilst I am all in favour for giving the boy a chance, 2 relegations and a season where he couldn't force himself into 2 premier teams isn't looking good. I think that he needs to move and hopefully start his career elsewhere.
