Monk going to rush back from injury.
    Not a good situation.
Heard someone say Hillache deal has been rejected as well

Gutted. Don't know how long he's out for yet, but Tim Lewis, who is a journo for wales online said Fifa have told him with regards to the Halliche and Situ deal, "The cases are currently pending and being investigated." Monk on Saturday then?

WTF is there to investigate .... That some pencil necked idiot cant do his job. Just get it dine we don't need an investigation, we need an approval.

Gutted to hear this, really gutted. Maybe he really IS the next Ledley King...

I hope he has a speedy recovery and he's able to play for us again this season. The guy seems like, potentially, a major asset for any Premiership club, and the more games he plays for us the better!

He was outstanding for us against the Gunners.

We really are short of cover now.

And its been confirmed Hillachis deal has been rejected.

Situ was to come in with a view for the future, meaning, we weren't going to play him this season!

Really bad times...At least we have got further Loan options now to bring in some quality in January.

    Borini would be good.

I'm concerned for Saturday now, if Monk doesn't make it back it's going to have to be a youngster, or a midfielder...ummm, I cant think who would play there. Rangel or Taylor aren't CBs, nor is Jazz.

    Gower?
Even Macdonald would have been good!

    I'd be very, very surprised if Bessone started at CB! Rangel would be ahead of him in the "pecking order" as it were. Maybe;

    Vorm

    Richards RB
    Rangel CB
    Williams CB
    Taylor LB

    ?

At least that way it's a whole back 4 of players who know our system and are comfortable on the ball. I'd rather have Rangel in an unfamiliar position than Bessone, and Rangel has the benefit of lots more games under his belt. Also, by doing this it means Jazz comes in at RB, rather than LB, and in my opinion he's stronger at right back anyway.

Monk is obviously not at the required condition to play. Didn't even have a run-out for the reserves this week!! But a 'step-up' in his 'fitness' has been announced since the confirmation of Caulker's injury!! He will play Saturday, probably with a little 'pain-remover', but doesn't mean he'll be up to the job fitness-wise!! He's got no match fitness at all!!!! We have the 'juggling' of full-backs option, into the central role. But is it better to have an experienced player out of position, an unfit club-captain or throw a youngster (Joe Walsh) in the deep-end??.......

I'm sure the coaching team will have a plan of some sort.
I can't help feeling that the interview on MOTD will be Rodgers saying
"Yea well, these results happen, our sqaud is really down to the bear bones at the moment, and I think its ridiculous that fifa haven't allowed us those players"

Swans have had clearence denied but are going to appeal . ive heard a rumour that Danny graham got injured today in training ! anybody hear anything similar ??

Im quietly confident for saturday regardless of the injury problems ,time to take a gamble on the youth products we have ,walsh ,casey and jazz have talent they may sink or they may indeed swim !!

    cmon the swans!! :)

Oh my gosh! This week could ruin our season.

    Augustien
    Beattie
    Caulker
    Situ
    Hillache
    Graham

    Then add Tate and Monk
