Seen a thead like this on another site. But thought make interesting debate.

With both almost back at full fitness and ready to star for us again.

Would you put them staright back in the squad or the team or neither. Bearing in mind it will probably be for the Man U game.

For me as well as Monk has done. Caulker is class and has to go back in to the team as soon as possible. Augustien on the other hand would be on the bench.

me personally would keep the same starting line up as the last match and see how we fair, if things are not going well then bring them on. the both players will be rusty and not match fit to start with them IMHO. save them for the man utd game if possible as they will be a lot fitter and will give a better account of themselves.....

Think both are targeting Man U game? Not sure.

Caulker: start him. Class act, and despite the fact that Monk's been a good servant, yadda yadda yadda, the best player in that position should start, and that ain't Monk. You can't wait to see how the game progresses with a defender because before you know it you could be 2 down (a la Norwich).

Agustien: A trickier one because every player in our midfield has been playing really well. Depends whether Rodgers feels we need a physical presence that won't get muscled off the ball, and Agustien gives us that whereas none of the others do. Probably start on the bench and see how it goes.

monk made it in the premiership team of the week with a few sports writers last week so why drop a form player aussie, like i say these two players have only just started training and wont be match fit yet, Bring them off the bench by all means but only if we need too. keep the starting line up and see if they carry on where they left off last week.....

Personally, I don't think I would throw either of them into the fray against ManU, it's too big a game. Wait for Villa the week after, unless we're either thrashing ManUtd or being thrashed in which case give them a run out in the second half.

Agustien is travelling with the team tomorrow, so might be on the bench. Earliest for Caulker is Man Utd supposedly, so unless Kemy features tomorrow, a couple of run-outs in the reserve matches over the next 10days (WBA & Wolves at home), will help to get them prepared for the ManU/Villa matches. Of which, I'd be prepared to wait for the Villa match for Caulker especially, to make sure when he does come back, he stays back!!.....

Caulker: if match fit, then he starts.

Agustien: he would need to play his way back in from the bench.

A few sub road minutes this weekend for both , if possible , then into the deep end with them for the Manchester United & Villa games after the break , especially Caulker . Both players will need minutes to get them ready for an all important December schedule .

Agree with what a few people have said here. Caulker should start against Man Utd if he's fit, whereas Augustien will have to earn his place in the side back (or wait until Buck feels we need a bit more steel in midfield - when's the next big away game?)

Couple of good permitations, but the big one would be if we win today (its a big if), then simple unless there are injuries during the international break then it stays the same with both gradually making their way back via the brnch,if its not broke dont fixit

I'd put them both straight back in.

Would be a little harsh on Monk but Caulker is class. As for Agustien, if we are looking at the Man U game for a starting comeback for these players, then i believe he is more physical and more accurate with his passing than Gower, something which will be important against Man U as we wont be able to give the ball away cheaply at all.
