Hmmm. A Daily Mirror piece with Catts just before the derby. And a "Sunderland IRA-chant at McClean" segment just below the piece.
In that case then, you're in all kinds of ****, if that's the best you had. What a prat this kid is, sorry lads, I know you lot have time for him but he's just a dick.
He's been played in the wrong position. The lad has a good eye for a pass and is good going forward so should be played further forward. He does not have the temperament, nor the ability to play in a holding role!
I just think he's completely obsolete mate, the fact that he's come out and said they gave their all for DA is a joke, it just shows to me how the mentality of the dressing room is... nothing is ever their fault.
Despite being in and out of the side or defence kept 11 clean sheets in the league with Catts protecting the defence for a club that fineshed fourth bottom. Very good when consider your lot kept 7 in the entire season(league games). Also we only won 1 game with him out off the side(9 games) Saw every Sunderland game last season. He's a DM IMO(for the benefit of Cardew) and we're much better at the back with him breaking up opponents play. He's had a bad start to the season but the last few he's been much more himself.
Bri, to me he's had more lives than a cat. He seems to up his game for a few matches per season and all is forgiven, I bet there's not a player in the league who's cost his side more points over the years than him, being an idiot and giving away fouls, penalties, getting sent off, being suspended when he's needed. You lot are just so used to watching lazy bastards on your pitch that he stands out when he actually does a bit of graft. I was hoping M'Vila's bossing would help some of you realise the guy is a dinosaur playing in a high-tech field, it seems whilst he's still at your club you lot will back him no matter what. I'd argue that you lot would have won a lot more of those drawn games if he wasn't in the team, it's all opinions innit, in my opinion,
I've been a big Catts fan, but I'm coming round to your view now TJ. I think it's time for him to move on, especially now with M'Vila in place (provided we can keep him of course).
I know how it is mate, I have more faith in Rooney than anybody else does it seems. I still think he's our best player, but many others are telling me he's finished, he's ****... one day I'll probably have to accept that, or I'll be proven right and go round rubbing **** in everybody's faces.
Fair enough mate. I'm just saying that I think he is far better suited going forward. Whenever I see him play, he has good vision, can pick a pass and finds space. Granted, you see him far more than I do so you'll know more about him than me.
Well I cannot comment on their mentality. From the outside, it appears they only care about the derby and the final 8 games to the season but perhaps that is just how they roll and when things click!
dark sided WUMS - mischief makers - we know the strengths & weaknesses of our players - lets not forget they are used to world class outstanding football each week from Colback et al - much better player than Catts - What ... ? they are our deluded pretentious dark neighbours -a bit
