Catts reckons the team owe the fans after this week's exit from the cup. 3rd is still mathematically possible - get on it...

We have as much chance of winning this one as people gave us of winning at Stamford Bridge last season - hopeful of the same but doubtful as City are a much better side at home than anyone in the league!! fingers crossed though eh??

We don't have a hope it hell this weekend. But its football and anything thing can happen. I think 3-0 to City. Just have to hope the Mags beat the bindippers so we still have a chance at 7th in the run in.

To be honest, nobody gave us a chance when we played them at home.

I honsetly think, if we play our best we can get something. A point would be nice.

They will all have rockets up their arses after tuesday night I can tell you that.

Tbh I am not too hopeful for the Chitty game, I am still disappointed about our performance on Tuesday. I try to play golf now and then and if I lose cos' I miss hit shots or little putts I get cross cos I played crap. So the cup game against Everton is going to rankle for a while cos my team did not play as well as they could, I would not be so bothered if we had played well and were beaten by a better team on the day, but to be as useless as we were is so frustrating.

For me the season is about cup runs and the games against the skunks and not being dragged into a relegation dog fight. I thank God that Elis Short saw sense and sacked Bruce and brought MoN in we gave 40 points so should be ok in the league. Tbh I am not too fussed about the rest of the season, I am taking 3 young lads to the Spuds game, it will be their first time at a big game and I hope we put in a good performance, by the way have you seen the cost of getting names printed on football shirts?

I would actually like to see for the rest of the season, the likes of Ji and Connor given a start, Meyler to get more air time etc cos MoN needs to assess who is going to be let go, I expect we are already chasing targets, a couple of strikers must be on the cards.

If games go ok I can see us getting 10 points, but really not too fussed.

Whilst I can;t disgarre with your sentiments - i think Ellis Short will at £800k per league place - i.e. we finish with 40 points and end up 15th we get 4.8m - we finish 8th we get 10.4m - We have to finish as high as we can if only for the financial reasons - it will also give us that extra pulling power we need in the summer if we're just outside the euro spots
