from @cattermole_lee Lee cattermole twitter London and back today!!Trains were so busy had to stand up the whole way back... Made the most of it! Loads of banter between passengers Fair play to the lad travelling like a normal person, but with such a bad injury surely a first class would have been a better idea??
****ing bollocks mate, I was born in Hendon and whenever I travel by train I go 1st class, economics mate, it's about a five dearer and you get a free meal and drinks.
Now he is missing, perhaps a few of his doubters will realise just what an integral player he is for us and give him a break. I'd build my team around this lad as the solid central focal point. Keeper, Centre backs, midfield general and play-maker; striker are the spine of all successful teams. I'd like to see another central defender and a central midfield play-maker bought in January. I'd also like another striker to play alongside Fletcher. To part fund this I'd sell Sessegnon.
We have strikers at the club mate but, MON only plays with one up top unless we are getting beat then he throws an extra one on. We have to get the CM sorted as even with Catts we are very poor there and as you say CB or CBs as we are creaking there as well, paying the price for buying old crocks from Man Utd maybe?
If MON reads and heeds this post were sorted. We are desperate for a big physical attack minded CM. Recall Meyler at least for December and this could be his chance. He isnt the answer but at give the lad a chance. He's tall, not frightened to get stuck in and cannot be any worse than our current crop of underperforming midfielders.
Thing with Meyler mate is he needs match time and with our current predicament he will not be given that time both by fans and management. We need to get a few decent results on the board and be sort of safe ish then he will get his chance. Still think his injury has taken it out of him though but, like I say he hasn't really been given a chance to show whether that is true or not.
