It has to be Power and Grant, surely ? Skill wins games, we need Grants guile and Max's Energy !
    What 2 ?

He's the first name on the team sheet, for me.

Seriously? Our stand out central midfielder this season and you’d drop him!!
@Simple Saffy I’d argue second name on the sheet after McLaughlin!

Never been a fan of Cattermole. Overrated by our fans, underrated by the rest of the world. Average player whose character and commitment elevate him above his ability level. Bloody wouldn't drop him for Wembley though. Firstly because that character and commitment is what we need to drag us through. Secondly because we should start with the same midfield three as Thursday. Control the midfield and you control the game.

    Of course he does.

Though he doesn't have the armband he's our captain and leader. Head and shoulders above Honeyman in those characteristics.

He has the experience and quality for this game. Apart from the penalty miss in the other final he was my MOTM.

One of the first names on the team sheet for me, we all know his limitations but he's finishing the season strong and these pressure games are the sort of games he's best in.

Plus he's on one goal in four games this season so wouldn't put it past him to score.

Can't understand how anyone could consider leaving him out this season. Unless, as @Gordon Armstrong said, he's on a wind up

Probably, he likes to give the pot a stir from time to time.

Most over rated player ever imo., but at this level he has been our talisman this season, and although they both have their weaknesses he and Leadbitter are our best pairing imo. they must start, I am a big fan of Honeyman who is not at his best atm, but with his energy and pace, and no little skill he is just ahead of Power for me. Its great having a trio in the engine room who are all NE lads and brim full of commitment, if fit, i would start all three. Maybe include Power as well, with George starting and Gooch on the bench.. OaU.

So you'd potentially start with Leadbitter, Cattermole, Power and Honeyman? That has to be the most negative midfield in the history of the game!

So are you only playing one of McGuire, Morgan McGeady (if fit)?

from what i have seen of Power he can't hold a candle to Catts, and without Grant we are ****e, Catts is the one who protects the defence, and Grant on the corners, where he has started making us a threat, and his passing and vision is also way above the rest, only an idiot would not start these two.

Wembley is a big pitch, so the ball needs to do the work, so Grant starts IMO

Big games call for experienced players, so Catts starts IMO

Power is unlucky, because his performances lately have been good, but unless he is accommodated further upfield then he's on the bench IMO
