Just seen a tweet from DM. Doubtless the full implications will be discussed very soon, but here's to the next generation
DM just tweeted we've been granted category one status! We can now recruit from anywhere, no more 90 minute rule!
Great news, all we need now is to improve our scouting network. We've been lacking in this department ever since Superman was sacked
Get the f*** in! Best news of the year, bar staying up Very important for the future of the club, and the fact DM said colney will be redeveloped makes the sound of one of the best facilities in the country. Very exciting times ahead

Really is fantastic news and let's hope we can find players like Bale, Oxlade Chamberlain, Walcott etc; who I believe all started their career at Southampton.
As mentioned earlier, at least the fact that we're remote, backward and isolated need no longer be an issue for up and coming startlets to consider joining us. Look how many ex-footballers who had anything to do with the club still have a base in Naaarfolk Eadie, Big Iwan, Worthington, Ashton etc.
Excellent news. Is there are list somewhere of the successful clubs? Would like to see what company we'll be keeping.
I think we may need to offload a few of our youth coaches, I've heard they are a bit crap and old hat. I really would like us to bring in some fresh blood to manage this. It is an incredibly important part of the future of our club. We now have the chance to produce real footballers, not the Gerrard wannabees of the last 10 years. Its like we only produce players that fit a set template.
We need someone at the head of this who will attract the right calibre of young player to Norwich. It will probably need to be someone from the continent who has played at the top level and has experience coaching for a leading continental club or a national academy abroad.
Absolutely, we need to do this properly or not at all. As far as I'm concerned whoever does this is on a par with the manager for importance. Managers are (mostly) for the short term, this person has our long term future under his responsibility.
The Dutch always churn out top quality youngsters especially when you consider there is only around 17 million of them, the academies at the likes of Ajax, PSV and Feyenoord have always been leagues ahead of ours considering the resources they have. There will be no shortage of coaches wanting a new challenge and I can imagine with how successful these academies are career progression is relatively static.
