How long can you put off packing your stuff and travelling to the airport for a pre determined flight?
Since 911 airports have taken a stronger stance on security and can insist on new rules, but you normally get a 90 before the flight check in so if you check in online that can be cut to as little as 15 mins.

I fire stuff into a bag 10 minutes before leaving for the airport. I do check in on plenty of time though so the boozing can begin. The aim being to sleep through the boredom of the flight and not have to put up with any twat you happen to be sat next to.

Two and a half hours prior to flight time

-just enough time to deal with issues, otherwise you can kill time looking at all the ****ty shops, or have a coffee complain about the price
