    A fine footballer but maybe his lack of pace caught up with him this season.

    Absolute quality footballer, despite his lack do pace, probably one of the finest defenders I have seen grace The Vic. I will miss him.

    The first time I watched him at the Vic he was playing as a wing back and some of the crosses that came in from him were superb. I think that the pace of the Championship caught up with him a bit this season, but there was still plenty to enjoy in his game. Certainly one of the best we have seen over the years.
