Cartier Two-Year-Old Colt: Too Darn Hot
Cartier Two-Year-Old Filly: Skitter Scatter
Cartier Three-Year-Old Colt: Roaring Lion
Cartier Three-Year-Old Filly: Alpha Centauri
Cartier Sprinter: Mabs Cross
Cartier Stayer: Stradivarius
Cartier Older Horse: Enable
Cartier Horse of the Year: Roaring Lion

Looks like John Gosden has almost cleaned up, deservedly so.

I'm not trying to buy into the debate Ron, but are you on the Enable train? If so is an Arc, September Stakes and a Breeder's Cup Turf, enough to counter Roaring Lion's Dante, Eclipse, International Stakes, Irish Champion Stakes and a Queen Elizabeth Stakes wins?

Just wondering.
Without wishing to belittle a horse's performances Cyc (something I don't like doing) I just wonder how a horse who was 5th in the Guineas to Saxon Warrior and then beats that horse twice by a nk in 2 of the races you mention and finishes last of 14 at the Breeders Cup can warrant Horse of the Year.

And yes, I do think Enable's achievement of coming back from injury to win the Arc following a troubled preparation and then winning the breeders Cup does deserve HOTY.

Still, I know I'm biased but really, we must be struggling when a horse with that form gets it.
