With apologies to RBF! Who would have thought at the start of our year The wonderful times we've enjoyed? We've seen our team playing without any fear, With different formations employed! Each one of our players stepped up to the mark And gave it one hundred percent. They've all been heroes out there on the park, And shown everyone their intent! Our manager has always held his nerve, And picked a team to suit his plan, And though they are still on a learning curve, They all do the best that they can! So join me, my friends, as we give them a cheer As they battle on for the cause! We hope they'll continue for many a year, To earn our deserved applause! OTBC
Dave, you´re so right in every way We couldn´t have asked for much more, At times we´ve seen some extraordinary play And some special goals being scored Apologies not necessary my friend As poetic has been this year, And although it soon will be at an end Next year there´ll be more, never fear.
