So Liverpool will let him go for £20m. I know he looked better towards the end of last season but would you pay that? Is he three times the player J-Rod is for instance?

No...........but, I do feel a bit sorry for the lad. I think Brendon has gone about things in the wrong manner, he should have worked with him first, before just saying he's not wanted. Bt alas its Liverpools loss, they will lose chuncks of money on whatever deal happens. They just appear to be, not very clever when it comes to football.
Carroll has an albatross round his neck in the form of an inflated price tag. Not his fault Liverpool had money to burn and fans to appease. Rodgers is pretty damning saying that for that price you'd expect him to be flexible in style. Is he commenting on his limited ability or on attitude?
Strange man management. Completely destroying any confidencve he built up at the end of last season and at the Euros. Whatever they do though Liverpool lose out!
In truth, he was never a "Liverpool type of player" and will never fit in at Anfield. he was overpriced at £35M, and will be overpriced at £20m. £10 million tops given his record at newcastle.
