First of all, Im shocked that Carroll had the balls to say that he wanted to stay, then handed in a transfer request, just goes to show football is a buissness not a sport :undecided: but anyways, does anyone reckon I could get a refund or get CARROLL and 9 taken off the back of my shirt ? Any help will be appreciated, cheers lads. Also not too confident for sunday, might nick a draw if were lucky. Howay The Lads

"If you are angry/sad about Carroll leaving, donate your #AC09 shirts to http://www.afrikit.co.uk/ @Afrikit - Could make someone happy."

That's if you cant get a refund...

Got the same problem mate! I bought my shirt last Wednesday and was fuming when he left on deadline day! Obviously mostly because of the repercussions for our club but was a little annoyed at the fact that I bought the Carroll shirt just 4 days before he left...

Tried scraping it off with a knife but had no luck...

You can also have "is a ****" printed under the name :)

If you can't get a refund, but want to get something in return for giving it away, you could consider this. £50 bet for your Carroll/Torres shirts.

Luckily, I got my own last name and no.9 on the back of mine =D (well, my girlfriend did..as she bought it ha)

I've got some tops with 'Wor Jackie' on, a tried and trusted 'Local Hero' not like the multi faced cheapskate that's run off to scouserland.

Another option would be a massive bonfire outside the club shop!

I read in the Sun that you can send in your traitors tops i.e. Carroll and Torres and they'll give you different ones. They had a picture of a lad with a new toon strip with Nolan on the back. Maybe worth a try?

I think that was just a one off. The Sun are doing the whole donate the shirts to Oxfam thing and one little lad donated both his Torres and Carroll shirts (supports both clubs apparently) so they rewarded him by getting him a Nolan toon shirt.

haha. Nahh, dont be daft....acidhippo's my first name ;)

Is there, I wonder, a market for second hand Boomsong shirts?

I have one of a very limited number. Very limited...

I doubt this would happen but it would be a good gesture to the fans if anyone who had bought a shirt from any of the club shops and had Carroll put on them was allowed to exchange the shirt for free, also print a picture to stick over the calendar for Feb, all the shirts returned could be donated to Africa as pointed out previously.
