This is what Andy Carroll told the Liverpool Official Club Website :

"When I knew [Liverpool's interest] was real and that there was a chance for me to come here I knew it was a great opportunity and I had to take it,"

I thought you wanted to stay you twat , what the hell are you talking about?

I think to be honest he's pulled his little todga off because he will have been offered £80k per week and his inflated ego will love the fact he was bought for £35 mill and moved to liverpool, saying that ashley wouldn't be complaining and made sure his helicopter was readily available to send carroll to liverpool if he didn't want him to go he should have said get the f**(in bus you stupid hippy.

Having said that I heard a rumour back in the summer a long the lines of hughton would be sacked a yes man manager would be brought in to sell carroll and then ashley would sell the club, let's hope the last part come true for everyone
