Twitter seems to have gone mental for some rumour Andy Carroll was carted away from the team bus and off into a separate car after the West Brom match.

Suspicions of some kind of altercation or tantrum PLUS the inevitable word that he was bound for SJP to re-sign with us.

I was trying to figure out if it was just him dashing up from Brum to catch something of the match and whether he'd get there with enough time to be worth it!

He'd have to be a bit fed up to be left out today when clearly Liverpool could have done with the firepower...

I think leaving it so late to put him on was a clear indication he's not in Liverpool's plans. Not going to comment on heresay but I just hope the way he's being treated by Liverpool doesn't set back him personal development, mentally I think he's on a knife's edge right now.

Just watched that game on Sky, Liverpool had a shocker, Brendan Rogers looked like he was on the verge of collapse!

Amen! The Toon was a poisoned chalice until Pardew sorted us out - Liverpool is worse 'cause their expectation is 10X higher - King Kenny won a cup and it still wasn't good enough!

If you watch MOTD, Hansen makes a point of saying , he hopes the Liverpool crowd get behind Brendan Rogers, give him a chance and support him, I don't recall him doing that for Roy Hodgson!

£15m means it's been a good loan spell.

Wonder if the reds would like Shola on loan for £20m.

Hansen also said Agger and Skrtl were also arguably the two best CB's in the league last year. Dunno if there's an Agger and a Skrtl in the Danish league or something because it definitely wasn't this one he was on about.

As for Carroll, he's exactly what Liverpool need. A striker. Suarez is not a striker, the sooner somebody at Liverpool realise this, the better they'll do.

I'm curious where this myth that Agger and Skrtel are the greatest centre backs comes from. There's certainly no physical evidence that pertains to it

I agree, though scientist have recently found evidence of a massive field of delusion emanating from an area in the north west of England, which could provide evidence towards why this theory tends to only be backed up by those living in the area.

I thoroughly enjoyed Liverpool's miss fortunes yesterday, and WBA to be fair should have scored more. Suarez can't hit a barn door, and Carragher being bumped to the floor by Lukaku was great fun.

Id take Carroll for 15mil. We need another striker, and he loves the toon.

Liverpool could do with a (large) centre forward who can stick the ball in the back of the net, 30 mill would secure the services of Shola for a season long loan.

Harsh on Hughton I feel... He was the one who gave us stability, Pardew seemingly enhanced that, but Chris deserves the credit for the foundation in my opinion <ok>

Also, rumours we have problems ourselves with Marvy apparently throwing a paddy because he wasn't on the bench, and when Shola got injured in warm-up Marvy couldn't be found. Not good. To be fair, I'd be upset after playing so well pre-season. That's a terrible decision objectively.

Haven't seen the evidence, was just told this before the game yesterday
