I think it was a big disrespect that Carrol went in straight over Faurlin. I doubt he was more fitter than him. I don't know what Redknapp has against him. That was the perfect game for him. He would have kept the ball away from them in the first half and provided some creativity. Carrol was decent in the second half but he's young and a bit leightweight compared to Faurlin. I think we should be taking greater care of an actual QPR player.

    What do you all think?

We all have our favourites and our not so favourites.

Faurlin still has a role to play this season, even if it's as a squad player. So, no, I don't think it's disrespectful to play Carroll ahead of any player; after all, for the rest of the season, Carroll is an actual QPR player.

Zamora in front of anybody is disrespectful, as for Faurlin waste of space.

Agree about BZ. Five in midfield from now on, hopefully.

Carroll wasn't good. He was chucked in the deep end too early- he only started training with the squad on Thursday! It was disrespectful to Henry if anything, who should've got a start on the back of his recent improved performances.
Would've been more sensible to give Carrol gametime from 60 mins onward or something.

Definitely agree with this. All the new signings should be introduced this way, unless having to move in for an injured or suspended player. We already have a winning team, so not like its a priority to change things.

without AJ it seems more sensible to play five in the midfield with the two wide men supporting Austin... BZ is injured, and it's unfair on him to expect decent performances under the circumstances. Carroll is not suited to a 442.

Early days with the new boys... prob need time to gel... ;-)

Couldn't believe Zamora started - 442 ffs! Carroll looks lightweight and needs to play in a five man midfield. Barton was superb.
