"John was a better version of me and his form was one of the main reasons I retired from England."

Tough reading for Liverpool fans who are not fond of Terry.

yep. JC not in JT's class. Famous for feigning cramp to kill time in Istanbul

No doubt Terry has been brilliant for Chelsea and one of the best.

For outsiders he is just hard to like. Parking in Disable bays, criminal parents and not very faithful to his friends wife's.
Also that typical non warmth arrogant not very bright footballer when being interviewed is not attractive.
I think these points have clouded his all round quality as a player.
Any team would love to have him baggage or not.

I'd personally have had Terry and Carragher alongside each other and sacked off Rio but that's just me.

Not, really. I'm not JT's biggest fan off the pitch, but his quality is obvious and always has been. Totally agree with JC - who, obviously, is one of my favourite defenders.

Personally think that's bollocks, mate, but you're entitled to your opinion.

There was a 2-3 year window when Rio was one of the best in the world, not just the premiership. When his level dropped, after that period, he was still good but I thought JC was better and deserved a few more starts in the England shirt. But, when all's said and done, JC and JT were too similar in style. Rio and JT complimented each other perfectly, a great defensive pairing when on form. <ok>

Personally I couldn't care what he gets up to off the pitch as its none of my business. On the pitch he is one of the best and that's what matters.

Why he has to be blamed for having the parents he has is ridiculous, my parents made a lot of mistakes, my dad came from Wapping, a very large and very poor family and he did what whatever he had to to survive, does that make me a bad person of course not.
As for the affair well it takes two to tango
